I am a loyal patient of planned parenthood because they always treat me with respect and kindness but MAN this location needs some work!! The front desk receptionist was nice, but the intake person Angie needs to work on her customer service! She made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. Every question i asked followed judgement and a snarky attitude! DO BETTER!

So if you’re a parent or guardian to a minor. DO NOT BRING THEM IN HERE!! I brought my step daughter who I gave custody over to get tested. She’s a minor, once we walked in, they automatically just shut me down and told me they don’t want to talk to me just my 12 year old step daughter. They asked her if she was working, if she had insurance etc.. like really? She’s 12. She is very shy. She kept looking at me not knowing what to say. We waited over an hour to have one procedure done. Than when they finally callled her in, again they told me her “guardian” that I can not go back. My step daughter was so scared and traumatized about the whole experience, she was shaking back there, texting me begging and asking me to go back there, I brought this to the ladies attention at the front desk and they told me after they question her, I can go back. Mind you my step daughter wasn’t being truthful about everything. So I needed to be back there to make sure she told them everything. They didn’t help us. They actually threatened her with calling the cops and cops on her biological mom for allowing her to sleep with someone her age. They told her they don’t test for whatever she was there for. So she ended up leaving with two bruised arms from where they took blood, they sent her with birth control even though she didn’t want it, they also offered her vaccinations without my consent. Ultimately she didn’t feel comfortable and she says she will never go back there. Waste of time. Waste of gas. They even missed her vein, and left her bruised badly in the other arm. They are rude. I called and complained to the supervisor I believe her name was Joanne, she said she would start an investigation and they would call me back that she understood exactly why I would be upset. Still waiting to hear back from someone higher up about the whole experience.

Oh and they had a R rated movie in their lobby. Showing things that kids shouldn’t be watching at all. I recently got custody of her. I’m trying to do what’s right for her mind and health and it backfires. JUST DONT BRING YOUR MINORS HERE EVER!!!

I stopped by PPH on 3-28-2024 and received the best service from a very amazing, kind, professional employee by the name of Salma. She deserves the highest recognition for doing an outstanding job and making me feel very comfortable while on my visit. She explained everything very thoroughly to me and was very gentle while preforming her job. Thank you so very much Salma for being you and for being the best medical staff member I've ever encountere in my life. You are truly the best and I wish there was more people out there like you who would make every work place so much better for everyone. Keep up the great job and may your life be blessed with all that you desire and deserve.

Go to seaside...period I had to wait 2 weeks for an available apointment. I was not seen till hr after my appiontment ..not walk in apointment. For someone who has all day to devote to this one appointment. I didnt . Horrible

Horrible experience no help in any way from this non profit organization that claims no one will be denied due to insurance, income, or immigration. Was flat out denied due to income was asked to make another appt when I can afford to pay for birth control. There website is a complete contradiction on their service.

I had an appointment and needed to be seen to have an ovarian cyst looked at and I was assuming, referred out. According to the woman who booked my appointment over the phone from planned parenthood this is something they regularly do. I got to the room and was asked why I was there, what was going on, I explained my recent ER visit and I got eye rolls and sighs as I was explaining my situation (why did you ask?). Then got grilled and questioned about why didn't I think to go to my primary care dr first? I replied "I thought this was the place to go since I felt comfortable going to PP about this matter, but I'm sorry, I will go somewhere else" and stood up. I got laughed at and a rude reply of "ya you need to go to your doctor when your medi-cal finally transfers to this county. 🙄🙄🙄🙄" I responded that I do have monterey county medi-cal, and showed her my card, and got a rude smirk and "hmmm idk why it says that then" I just left because at that point, I was just mad.
So I'm not sure what even happened today or how it was my fault that I tried to come here. I made sure to ask if these services are something that planned parenthood normally does and I was told that they did. But somehow I'm a jerk for showing up to an appointment. I don't get it.

Don’t even waste your time coming to this place I waited over 2 HOURS for my appointment this is an ongoing issue at this place that they don’t take seriously and don’t do anything about it to fix it. Don’t waste your time.
