Recently heard that this clinic is closing and I pray that they use the funds from selling it to ensure that other clinics are NOT run the way that this place is. My daughter found out that she had miscarried two weeks ago at her appointment and opted to take the pill to help complete the process rather than surgically. THEY MISLABELED HER MEDICATIONS and as someone who does not take meds not even OTC- she really let an ibuprofen sit under her tongue for several minutes because it was labeled as the anti-nausea meds. So now her timing was off with the proper meds she should have taken in timing with others and she's puking because the ibuprofen was gross! Thank goodness the other pills were labeled correctly, imagine how badly this could've went! On top of that the first person she saw behind the doors was rude and made her uncomfortable. An already terrible experience made worse by error and attitude from the place that is supposed to help guide her through. We are grateful to live in a state where PP is accessible, but it really needs to be done better.

Appointment was cancelled out of nowhere. Was told by the manager that they sent a message to MyChart and also called me twice. Neither did I see the message in MyChart ļ¼i showed my chatting history to the staff)nor received the call or got a voice mail. Was also told that the phone number is not reachable if i call back. Manager didn't look like she cared she said she didn't know either and she couldn't do anything about it.

I was late to my 12:30 appointment by 30 mins. I was still taken care of as soon as I walked in. The staff was super friendly the receptionist her name started with a T accommodated my needs. Mindy was so nice and friendly during my intake and understanding of my situation and the team i had was just above and beyond. I am truly so thankful to the staff and to this place for everything they did for me today.

Absolutely God awful experience. Iāve been to hundreds of healthcare providers, probably thousands in my life as someone with chronic illnesses. This clinic location was among the worse of the bunch. And itās this location, not corporate, because Iāve had decent experiences at New England locations of planned parenthood. Anyway, Even some of the staff here were disgusted at how poorly I was treated by other staff. I was there for an entire day trying to get my IUD replaced, and not only do they never advertise that there are pain control options for this barbaric surgical procedure, but when I had to advocate and beg for them to many different people they refused to give me āmoderate sedationā - which would have literally been just an opiate and benzo that Iāve BEEN PRESCRIBED BEFORE. Because my chart had erroneously still listed sleep apnea even though that had been surgically cured and should be removed. They donāt want any extremely extremely rare liability that could arise from them not having any proper anesthesiology training despite literally performing so many advanced gyno procedures here. After spending an entire day there, I left empty handed and furious and had to come back the next day. More fights the next day, I had to fight and go upstairs to another wing JUST to get them to numb my cervix - which they called ālocal sedationā, like no thatās literally just a standard part of the procedure itās an incredibly minor anesthetic. Wild. They at least had a real doctor put it in, perhaps because it was much more of a fiasco than an average patient. Many of them were quite condescending to me as well, despite my having two degrees in biomedical science and being an EMT provider myself.
Lastly - absolutely no one at this clinic could discuss the differences between the hormonal IUD options (Skyla vs Kyleena vs Mirena), which all have different doses of progestin and ARE DIFFERENT. Was trying to discuss, for example, if thereās any difference in the risk of ovarian cysts, which Iāve had several times, difference in side effect profile and what periods are like, etc etc. ZERO KNOWLEDGE or willingness to help weigh pros and cons which is SUCH A CENTRAL PART of a healthcare providerās JOB. While I have more ability to deep dive into PubMed articles than the average patient without my medical training, itās still extremely exhausting and frustrating to have to do this and be met with a lack of knowledge, itās so harmful to so many people. (Not to mention women still get prescribed birth control pills that increase their risk of blood clots without any testing for thrombo risk genes / evaluation of if they smoke or take other meds, etc. So many young women have preventable strokes because of the clusterfck that is womenās healthcare in the U.S.).
Another side thing- thereās tons of free condoms in paper bags in the waiting area, but I saw zero dental dams. Talk about hanging pride flags around without actually taking inclusivity into accountā¦.
The bathroom in the lab where I did a urine test had alcohol swabs instead of the cleansing wipes in the basket by the toilet, so I ended up with some chemical burning pain down there too to top it if. And the wait times were of course horrendous too.
They also couldnāt even do a blood draw without serious bleeding & bruising in my armā¦.

it was pretty straightforward and i got my hrt refilled as needed but the lady at the counter yelled my legal name which was really embarrassing as a trans person. they could have just said my last name if they were unsure:/ however all the other workers were rlly nice

The staff is empathetic, intelligent, and hardworking. They made me feel welcomeānever rushed or overlooked. While negative reviews mention long wait times, this is due to the clinic operating with a skeleton crew because of underfunding, not disorganization. They go above and beyond to make this clinic exceptional. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The doctors and nurses here are wonderful but unfortunately wait times are insane because higher ups have asked them to see more people. I arrived at 8am for an 8:10 routine STI testing appointment and didnāt leave until 10:45. As someone who doesnāt do well with needles, I purposefully scheduled my appointment as early as possible, and having to wait in a state of heightened anxiety for nearly three hours was difficult for me. This testing couldāve been done in like 20 minutes. The doctor told me that because theyāve been asked to see more people, everyone was having to wait three hours. Despite having a good experience with all of the staff here, I will likely be having testing done in the future with a PCP. If anyone in charge is reading thisā seeing less people faster will likely result in happier clients

Very Positive experience. Very empathic care and thoughtfulness from each and every individual who cared for me. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs care for any circumstance. All of my questions were answered without making me feel embarrassed or small. Felt safe and comfortable. Honored my appointment despite me running 30 minutes late.
