I am relieved to find a practitioner that asks questions and does more than just the minimum. After a sleep study I got a follow up call asking if I want to pursue it further. After a decade with CHC I had forgotten what care can be like. I also have had to call the office a couple of times and was shocked to have a human answer the phone and transfer me to another human who took care of my needs. I was surprised by the 100$ fee but if it allows them to be more responsive than other offices I am happy to pay it. Thank you!

Horrible! They don’t answer phone calls and leave you in the waiting room for hours. My senior and disabled mother asked for a doctor’s note to excuse her from jury duty and waited 2 hours to receive a prescription pad note with a pathetic scribble. They charge $100 a year in “administrative” fees and treat their patients like cattle. If there was a way to give 0 stars I would. I have lived and worked in the community for over 15 years and I am truly appalled by this office. The doctors and staff a like are abhorrent.

If I could give it a 0 stars I would.
And I thought I was the only one!!!
This is the worst excuse for medical office I have ever seen. It seems like it comes natural to the entire staff to be rude and uncaring, it’s really sad actually now that I see how many other trusting people like my self have gone here out of a true necessity and have been completely messed around by these people.SMH

Scheduled back to back appointments for a pre-op, when I arrived, I was told they can only do the initial consultation appointment, not the pre-op appointment. Surgery was in 2 weeks and the was the entire reason for the appointment. Today I received a bill for $150 as a no show. Do better Pismo Family Practice! Your staff is rude and the audacity to send me a bill when you couldn’t follow through with the appointments that were scheduled! I’d rather drive out of Pismo than to ever go to this office!

Dealing with Cathy at the front desk is unbearable. Her unpleasant demeaner makes me wonder if all these 1 stars are because of her. You work in customer service, it is not your job to make people feel like they are bothering YOU! You can do better, Cathy.

I have been with Pismo family practice for three years. Just as a side note I pay the admin fee every year at my yearly physical in November/december. I July 2023 I noticed a lump on my left breast. Suzy sent me in for an ultrasound they said it was benign but then at the recheck in six months in July it grew 20% so I needed a biopsy. French hospital scheduled a biopsy for me I never heard back from suzie Williams. So the day I got my biopsy suzie Williams called me saying I needed a biopsy I informed her I already had one. My dr at hospital told me that my results would be back in three days and to check in w my general. I called to check since they were a little late in the first place no biggie suzie called me back and said their office manager quit and she was working 12 hour days and I would just need to be patient for my results and she will call me when she gets them. Ok just called once to check and see. She calls back with my results and says that the lump is benign cool ! But I needed not to worry and hadn’t I been through this before ? I said no and suzie said oh must of been someone else I’ll have the office schedule you for your November physical. So fast forward almost two months later when I’m trying to get life insurance they said that I was supposed to be referred to a breast surgeon per my biopsy results. Well I called the office and left a message as to why suzie never informed me of which is upsetting . No call back I go to an appointment today and they asked me for my co pay ok that’s fine and then a 100 dollar admin fee I said no I’m sorry I’m not paying that until I see the dr and figure out why I wasn’t given my proper referral to the breast surgeon and then I would pay it. The medical receptionist stood up in her chair and said then I’ll cancel your appointment! I was so upset I was trying to stop from bawling. There was zero compassion ! No listening only caring about the 100 dollar fee and not the many mistakes they have made like ordering the wrong blood work and the referrals they never sent in. I was on the phone because I thought Wendy Weiss was associated with dignity health and I know so many who work for them and I was working on reporting her. I out a hundred bucks at the window and told them I would pay it they said they wouldn’t take my money and would send my records to a new dr. So they took zero accountability for their mistake were hostile and rude for the get go they threatened to call the cops on me if I wouldn’t leave because I was upset because now I still need to be seen by a surgeon for my lump and I have no idea if I’m ok or not. I can’t believe that they hire people to treat anyone like that . I am reporting this to the medical board and whoever else. Wendy Weiss is not associated with dignity health anymore for a reason. Of course I was upset they were negligent in not telling me of the federal in my report. All the medical assistants had to say was sorry that happened let’s figure this out instead of shunning me away because I wouldn’t pay a fee I already paid !

This is the worst practice. They do not care about the customer at all. Only about the money. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they are very rude and unwilling to work with you at all . I will never go back.

Not liking this place at all, been here for the last few years and never felt like a priority. Always get put on hold until finally 10 min later they remember, the 1 doctor l felt gave me the sense that someone cared left, now I just feel herded. Definitely will be actively looking for a new office beginning today.
