When I contacted the store last Friday I spoke with a staff member who could not provide me with a quote but stated he would let Kristen, the store manger, know I called and she would contact me back. Two minutes after hanging up I received the call back from Kristen. I explained my situation about how I was frustrated with several other pool companies that would not call me back and how I needed a new pump. She asked me to send pictures to her repair person Dan, and that Dan would call me as soon as he could. I immediately sent the pictures to Dan who within a couple of minutes called me back. He said that in the same afternoon he would call e back or Kristen would with a quote. Kriisten called me the same afternoon with the quote and set me up with the new install set for the next Tusday which was today. I must say firmly they are top notch professionals with outstanding communication skills. I definitely without a doubt would use them again. Not only that they earned my business for life. Amazing experience with a remove and reset of our filter and heater systems. Erosion caused a need to pour a new concrete pad for under the equipment. Dan and Tim were amazingly professional, fast, and efficient. Shout out to Branden and his crew at Holloway’s painting and construction for great work on the pad replacement and pool deck repaint. Extremely happy and appreciative for all of this good work.

Kristen has been amazing in coordinating info and scheduling and answering my million of questions. She is an operations master! Daniel came out and I was just recovering from a back medical procedure and desperately needed help getting my pool running for aqua therapy. Daniel came in, sat down, talked in kind and direct language and presented me with all of my options. I ended up spending the money needed to get a pool heater pump, new salt cell and new filter to ensure all will work well. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. No high pressure sales, more of a master class on what I needed. He also brought Marty with him and Marty was great in showing me how the new filter works, how to change readings and other tidbits that help me keep my pool safe and operating. A++++ for all three who have helped me get my health back to primary focus.

1/10 update and separate review - Devin is our new tech and has been very kind and represents the company well. He seems to know our setup well. Thank you, Devin.

Alright Kay,
I believe fantastic experiences just the same as horrible experiences should be noted and reviewed alike.
My last visit was definitely a one star visit, which made me swear I would never come back to the store again due to an experience with Rex.
Today, Kay made that experience a complete 180* and went above and beyond to earn my business again.

This is the second time Dan from Pinch a Penny Mt Dora came out to look at my pool. The fist time he came out he diagnosed my problem and got on the phone with the manufacturer of my salt generator and got the problem fixed under warranty. Unfortunately this time my pump was leaking and he gave me the option to fix it or replace it with a new one that included a 3 year warranty. He stated fixing the old pump would fix my leaking problem but the sound that was coming from the pump let him know that it was only a matter of time before it would fail and he would have to replace it in turn costing me more money. Although I don’t know Dan personally you can tell he is a man with integrity and is to be trusted. I highly recommend him for all your pool service needs and he will be the only one I call in the future.

Excellent communication from the store (Kristie?). Dan was thorough, prompt, courteous and professional. He not only corrected the jet sizes in our spa but also explained the technical aspects of how the pump affected the flow (in terms I could understand) and options for going forward. Thank you!
