I came here for 92 year old dad’s pulmonary walking test. As instructed, we arrived 15 minutes early to check in on the first floor of the hospital. Despite trying to maintain a good spirit, gentleman at the desk gave us immediate challenge with his unpleasant demeanor. He took dad’s ID and asked us to wait. After waiting 80 minutes, I approached him and asked how long we’d need to wait. He waived me away, telling me that they know we’re waiting so keep waiting. (What is the purpose of having an appointment?) I went back again after 15 more minutes to tell them we have another appointment in an hour when a lady at the station told me she couldn’t find dad’s paperwork. They finally called us after another 5-10 minutes and took us into a smaller room—to REGISTER us! Even with scheduled appointment, wait time was 2 hours!

When we finally made it up to 2nd floor, to friendly medical professionals for testing, they simply could not understand why the ordeal because they had “very easy day.”

This place is filthy and dirty and I’d rather die on Skid Row. I went to the ER April 23 and they didn’t bill my insurance until June 24. A month later I still had not received a bill and collection calls started. They were trying to balance bill for the amount they billed my insurance and my insurance did pay the claim. I spoke to numerous rude, insulting reps before I contacted my insurance company and spoke to a supervisor that said it was a mistake on their end. I finally received a correct bill over 15 months later. When I would try to call in to setup payments the reps would still insist I owed the full balance even though I was getting final notices with the correct balance. I had no choice but to pay the full balance. This hospital is scum of the Earth, I wish I wouldn’t have gone at all

Truly disappointed with my services. Because I'm not rich I was in the ER from 11am-5:30pm. Just wow! I cannot even describe the feeling of disappointment. I thought the reviews didn't signify anything, and everything would be different but everyone has their own experience. I feel this place is for the fortunate folks.
Yall stay blessed!

I really have mixed feelings about this place. First of my father was brought to this hospital by ambulance to the emergency room around 1:30 am for an infection he got. The staff was great in taking care of him until around 7:30am when there change of staff. I have never seen nearly an entire staff of unprofessional in shift together. Aside from rudeness they referred to the patients by derogatory names according to whatever their condition was. Also they seem to be complaining about the administration was run and the people who run it. It was like being stuck in one of those daytime drama shows. I was really glad when my dad got transferred to a room around 10am.
My dad ended up staying there around 2 weeks because that's all the insurance was willing to cover. But he was still in bad shape and needed some additional care. It decided to transfer him to a nursing facility on a temporary basis. They found one that was close to my home and would have been great because I could go and visit him even after I got off work. However it all fell apart because they needed to run some test before the transfer to took place. The result was that he came back Covid positive. Now this is something that mostly likely he got the hospital because while most of the staff was a lot more professional than the ones at the morning ER I did run into one rude and careless nurse. She was watching my dad while his actual nurse came back from lunch. The bad the thing was she also had her own patients to take care of which I understand. However I didn't like the fact that she brought one that was constantly coughing in front of my dad's room door. My dad had to stay a few days in this until they found another facility that was willing to take Covid patients.
This facility was a whole lot better. The staff was very professional and caring with the patients. They were able to cure my dad from both infections in the 2 weeks and half he spent there. They really did a tremendous job of bringing back to health. At Good Samaritan he was practically on his death bed. The only drawback with the facility where he was transferred was that it was 30 miles away from home so I couldn't visit as much because I don't have a car and had to wait until someone could take me there. But even with that inconvenience I am truly grateful to the facility for saving my dad. I just wish that Good Samaritan had been more the facility that was far from my house

Good hospital. I took my wife here for her OB visits. The doctor was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. One thing we didn't like were the homeless people loitering nearby the parking lots. You can see some of them wasted on drugs, urinating or defecating, or doing some other things you shouldn't be doing in public. One time we parked at the outside parking lot and at one of the parking spaces, there was a huge pile of human feces. SO DIGUSTING! Just makes the area feel unsafe and unhygienic.

The RN named Kasey short for Kassandra did not take very good care of my family member who was in the ICU for a very dangerous procedure/ surgery for his heart. She didn’t allow him to go restroom and didn’t want to take him a bath and sent him off home to take a bath a home instead. Also as he was choking on tubes she insisted that he was fine and didn't need them to be took out. Very disappointed about her performance and behavior.

PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospitals emergency department is the best emergency room that I have been too. The staff was so polite and very helpful. The staff at the front desk were quick and prompt with to see my son in a timely manner. My son got to see a doctor very quickly and I was out of there in no time. Great customer service and very kind and caring staff.

Most of the staff is rude, apathetic and incompetent, sadly. One nurse even made fun of me when i told her i had a needle phobia. Put me in a room with no sheet on the bed. Limited knowledge and communication on my issues. Never saw the doctor.
