I had surgery at physicians regional. It went so well and so smoothly. Starting from the reception, nurses, and doctors. Everybody was so kind, so knowledgeable. They explained everything in details and took the time to update my husband as well. Strongly recommend physicians regional.
Shout out to Dr Hendricks!!! She is an amazing doctor!!!

In the ER, I received prompt and competent care. My only complaint was that the treatment room (13) was very cold. I was transported to an inpatient room…again, competent, safe care! The nurses were great, the dietary staff were friendly and helpful (food was good!) and the doctor clearly explained the medical plan. I was very pleased with my care!!!

I would’ve given a five, but I was very disturbed with registration process. I was told to arrive at 7 AM for what I thought was a 830 procedure. It was Monday morning and registration was really busy, they told somebody they came for a blood draw. It would be at least two hours! However, they were not very friendly or cooperative when I inquired after Waiting at 7:50, Man at the front desk said your next it shouldn’t be long. However, somebody else went ahead of me. Finally around 8 o’clock I was registered but the man at the front desk told me “just so you know your procedure is not scheduled until 11 AM.” That upset me, but I found out he was totally wrong in a few minutes when they called me back!!

Once I went back for the procedure, the staff was totally professional and efficient. I have only very positive things to say for them. The procedure went well. The Recovery was great and like I said, the nurses and doctors were pros! Very pleased with this part of the process. So I guess if they have a problem with their process, it’s better that it’s in the front end!

Reception was fine. I had blood drawn and that as fine. I needed two tests done in radiology and there was no one at the desk in radiology to advise. One test was done which was also fine. However no one was around to ask about the third test or to tell me where to go. I need up leaving and had to try and reschedule. Then while trying to reschedule I was told I had to pay for the test I missed again. That has yet to be resolve. No a good experience at all.

My Physical Therapist was fantastic to work with every day I attended. He encouraged me and pushed me appropriately to do more. He was knowledgeable, professional, supportive and made the PT fun! Bottom line is we worked well together and I would encourage anyone needing PT to utilize this facility and their Therapists.

ER staff was exceptional, they were able to acess my health issues promptly and efficiently. ICU nursing staff was great. Disappointed that there was no Doctor interaction once I left ER until requested to be discharged.

My wife was admitted on Wednesday 19 February 2025 with what we think is pancreatitis caused by a blocked bile duct. She has been waiting to have an MRI for three days. She is in pain and is on a liquid diet and pain meds. Waiting three days for an MRI seems like very poor scheduling management and or triage for procedures. This is not only frustrating to patients but it put the staff in an awkward position having to apologize for the extended wait without offering a reasonable explanation.

After finally receiving the MRI my wife was moved out of what we didn’t know was an overflow wing. My was scheduled and received surgery. The experience on the 3rd floor was much better. The surgical team was excellent. Clear , concise communication put us at ease and instilled confidence in my wife and me. Looking back on it, it appears the staff manning the overflow wing was likely ad hoc thrown together and the wing seemed understaffed. That likely resulted in what we experienced as poor communication and feeling like we had to pull information out of people to understand what was going on.

I was scheduled for a sinus CT in the radiology department at Physicians Regional. I arrived early and waited about 15 min. till I was called to a very pleasant gal in a booth who verified my information and gave me pages to sign. Then I was instructed to go to the radiology department where I waited another 10 min. or so. I didn’t mind the wait though as there were tv’s in the room that kept me occupied. Soon I was called into the room for my CT. The gal that helped me was friendly, knowledgeable and concerned for my safety. The exam was quick and easy and before I knew it I was finished and on my way back home. This hospital is my favorite place to go when needed. The staff treats me with empathy and respect. Not only are they close to where I live but they don’t seem to be as busy as some of the other hospitals in our county. I highly recommend this hospital!
