Wow, you could die before they even answer. I've been calling for days to make sure they received my lab results, and also because I've had a horrible cold for days—I NEED to see my primary doctor, and they just won't answer. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

I am very grateful to Dr. Angel Ortiz for being a professional who cares about the health of his patients, gives you confidence and clarifies your doubts. He is undoubtedly a charismatic person and always seeks to make sure he gives a good diagnosis. I feel safe going there. In addition, the staff is pleasant, the waiting times are short and the time inside with the Dr is enough to leave you satisfied with the results. thank you

This place was great when dr Nieves was here. He was super nice and staff was on point. But since he left staff NEVER answers the phone I’ve been call for over 3 weeks at all different times trying to get a referral. I’ve called the referral line, the front desk, the nurse line, nothing works. And I’ll let it ring for a very long time listening to the wait music. It’s just so unprofessional. I’ll be changing my provider today because of this.

UPDATE
The company has the option to message them directly from Google so I messaged them explaining my troubles and they messaged me back within an hour or so and they actually fixed everything that I was complaining about and they connected me with the staff directly on the phone so I’m actually very happy and I’ll be staying with them. Giving them another chance. That was very good customer service. Thank you so much.

What a horrible experience for my 71 year old father today. I took my father to see Dr. Ivette Rosario of PHCA Medical Group off East Colonial Dr. who he has been seeing for over four years for his chronic conditions, only to be told that I need to take him to a Urgent Care or Centra care clinic or the ER to be treated for a simple bladder infection that they were not equip to care for as his primary. I then was told by the office Case manager that I just need to take him to the ER and that Doctor herself then got on the phone with me to tell me that she has told the case manager what needed to happen and that she could no longer spend anymore time with me after she said my elderly father needed to be taken to the ER for unexplained reasons and she had OTHER PATIENTS to see now and brushed us off like we were unimportant and wasting her time after she gave my father nothing but a bunch of labs that were just for a routine visit which nothing about his visit was routine. I would not recommend this office to anyone’s elderly family members PERIOD!!!!!!! I however did take my dad to Advent Centra Care and Dr Cox took the right approach which any trained professional should have been able to do. Thank God for Advent Health and I will be looking for a better equipped office.

This is the worse medical facility ever. The manners and attitude of the so called "person in charge," at the front desk is despicable. She's nasty and defying. I had an appointment to see the doctor. It was passed 45-minutes after I had the appointment and no one had called me in. I stood up to tell the woman at the front desk, who claimed she was in charge, that I've been waiting that long and I was leaving. She place he hand on her hip, put one foot forward and said' "You can go in now." I said again, it's been 45-minutes after my appointment time and I have to go. She continue with her body-language attitude of defiance and repeated you can go in now. I said who is in charge here, she responded "I am," with her hand on her hip and foot forward, like ready for a fight. What kind business, mainly a doctor's facility hire these kind of low-class individuals and why don't they trained them to deal with the public and/or patients? We are paying for the service, the insurance is paying for the service, it's not free medical care. I recommend people DO NOT GO THERE.

I'd already had some qualms with Dr. Rosario due to several unwarranted comments she'd made about my body during my first check-up last year, even after I'd explained my situation. She consistently talked over me and appeared to completely ignore what I was saying at multiple points, speaking as if she knows best at all points in time. Recently, I went to her office solely to obtain a referral to a specialist for insurance reasons. The entire time I was in her office, all she wanted to do was dig through my records relative to a different recent specialist visit that I did NOT want to discuss with her. I tried to explain why I was present multiple times at the appointment that I explicitly paid for for a certain subject, but she, again, continued to speak over me at length, downplay everything I said, and outright ignored me several times. She made multiple highly offensive clinical recommendations that were extremely unwanted, which I had clarified repeatedly. Dr. Rosario does not care. She knows best and she knows you better from a ten second assessment than you have ever known about your entire medical history. I immediately threw out the irrelevant "pamphlets" she gave me as soon as I left her office. I attempted to specify no less than FIVE separate times what I had visited her for without success. I can't tell if there's a language barrier or if she genuinely does not care, but I'll be finding a different PCP that actually listens to me when I speak.

Not too happy about the wait to see the doctor but staff offered snacks and water to everyone which I thought was a nice gesture. Dr. Rosario always welcomes me, spends sufficient amount of time with me and walks me to the door and expresses her appreciation for choosing PHCA.

My 95 year old father is treated at this facility by Dr. Nieves. All the staff has been professional, kind and attentive to his needs. Earlier this year, Dr. Nieves treated my father for a severe cold, early pneumonia. His comprehensive treatment kept him out of the hospital, which my father hates, and allowed him to completely recover at home. Strongly recommend!
