I am eating my words for dinner. I needed to get my golden doodle groomed. She was way overdue for a cut. I had taken her to Petco Grooming in the summer and been very unhappy with my girl’s cut. She got nicked during her groom and I was not pleased. After letting time get too close to Thanksgiving, I checked the Petco website. Sara was available this afternoon. I signed her up for a spa day. Rue was at the front when we came in. She had cut my puppy and done an excellent job before. Sara came out and asked me questions about her cut, looked my dog over and let me know a ballpark estimate on price. With a lump in my throat and a thump in my heart, I left my puppy. They texted me when she was ready. I went right over to get her. My puppy was in the very best mood! Sara told me all she did and made suggestions for maintenance. She helped me find a good brush. She was very kind and very professional! Thank you Sara and Rue for taking care of my baby! PS the price was unbelievably lower than other chain store groomers, locally. It was easy to tip Sara for all her efforts with my girl. Thank you, Petco!

Not very often do you get both great customer service and helpfulness all in the same visit to just about any place these days, but my past fee visits to Petco in Hot Springs was by far very pleasant. I had a courteous, helpful and best part of all was knowledge on product's and/or items I was inquiring about. And that it my #1 favorite part about it my entire visit. As a customer and pet owner, it means a lot when you go into a pet store to shop for your Fur Babies needs (needing guidance and direction) on what is best for them or will actually help them and trying to stay within the budget you have and your able to walk out of the store confident that you got the product that your furry friends need to help them. It's really great that they're still some that actually go above and beyond to help you. Great job Petco Hot Springs

I haven't been to Petco in well over a year and with the complete lack of acknowledgement, greeting, or offer of assistance from any employee, I will not be making an effort to return any time soon. There were 2 employees in the store that I saw and I was the only customer in the store. I wasn't even sure at first there was actually any employees in the store since I wasn't greeted and the appearance of the employee when I actually realized they were indeed an employee. I get it's a pet store but the sloppy T-shirt and head bandana the employee was wearing made it appear they just crawled out of bed and needed something for their pet instead of actually being someone that is there to provide customer service. The only words the employee even said was what my phone number was for my account when I went to check out. No did you find everything you needed, no have a nice day, nothing, didn't even acknowledge the 2 pets I had with me.

I had a wonderful experience at Petco Hot Springs! The staff was not only knowledgeable but they cared, so much! They really cared about the animals there and helped inform me about my new baby and what he likes as treats and they were so lovely to my dad and I. And I now have a beautiful hamster that I will spoil for all his life!

Two women at cash register taking care of personal business and ignored us completely. We finally got the least amount of service from them and then just left. This place has become a joke. Amazon gets my business.

I stopped in while visiting the National Park because my dog needed some extra tick protection. Mary S, pet stylist & services extraordinaire greeted us as we walked in, supplied me with a coupon ++ help to keep my dog safe & happy, and even made sure she had some puppy snacks to take on our adventures!!!
