I am a patient here but will not be going forward. Let me be very clear, this was a wonderful patient-centered practice until it was sold to a corporate "healthcate" company, Sevi Health. When that happened, the practice fell into disarray, which became highly evident even without knowing the inner turmoil that was unfolding. Sevi's philosophy clearly seems to be "profit over people" and their management approach has caused several great providers to resign or leave. They have couched Dr. Wool's departure as "termination for cause," but that's misleading at best. The truth is that Dr. Wool, who built the practice and still owns the building, places his personal integrity and patient care first. So, he may be in violation of the purchase / operating contract as Sevi sees it, but it is not without merit. Now, while Sevi "owns" the practice, they do not own the building and are not currently offering a place to treat patients (per an alarming and terse email from the COO). They have gutted a good thing and it's the patients who ultimately suffer. Remember, it is Dr. Wool's reputation that built the practice to what it was, and that cannot be bought or recreated. Patients who paid the hefty annual membership who will no longer be able to be seen by their provider or get the quality service they are accustomed to should get a refund.
