We've been going to the same doctor's office as a family for over 10 years in Camden. Wonderful office, great staff - until this week.
I called for a med follow up and was told that I was required to see the medical director in the office at least once a year. They refused to schedule a med follow up with someone I've been seeing until I see the "actual" doctor.
Problem is, I don't like him for my care. I experienced significant trauma and almost died - I'm super selective who I have assessing my body. He's fine for sick care for my kids - I just don't like him for ME and I don't trust any doctors with my care other than the lady I was seeing. Never mind that he's a man and I don't particularly want to see a male doc anyway.
According to the front desk, this has always been the policy but they are sick of people getting away with it, so they are enforcing it now. I stated "I really don't want to have to find a new doctor - I do not trust him with my care."
Ultimately, I agreed to see the doctor just so I could get it over with despite the expressed desire that I do not like him. She asked for my number to call me back after asking my availability. I asked why she needed to call me back and she said she needed to talk to the doctor to see if he still wanted to even keep me at his practice.
Based on the statement about not wanting to find a new doctor - they deactivated my entire family as patients - including my ADULT child. They had zero empathy to trauma and zero thoughts about deactivating my children and my adult child.
It was non-negotiable. They made the front desk lady that I love call me and tell me that we were no longer welcome.

I've been using Peds and Parents for several years now. Both my daughter and I have complex health conditions, and are seeing Dr Wind. He's very thorough. When I talk to him about our health he listens, he never dismisses me or my symptoms. It's so important to have a doctor that will do that. We love Dr Wind and Beverly.

Absolutely blown away with the way I was treated after a traumatic experience dealing with 4 blood clots in my leg. We come from having navy doctors and seeing different doctors for different issues. I went to a provider that specializes in ADHD and told my doctor:nurses that I was taking medication for that. After I was prescribed blood thinners, I called to see if it was ok to mix the two because my heart rate was out of control and got up to 120. I called scared and thought they’d be helpful about my heart issue concerns, I was so wrong.
About a week later they sent me a letter to tell me they were dropping me as a patient. I explained the situation and they said I was lying on my paperwork by not disclosing that information to them (but as I explained I wasn’t taking the meds when I first became a patient) not only did they drop me but my children as well. I’ve never been late on a payment, showed up to my appointment and recommended them to other people. To be treated like trash after a trauma moment in my life because I was asking about mixing meds, that I told them about really doesn’t sit well with me. No phone call, no conversation, just done with us.
If you’re thinking about finding a caring and compassionate place for you or your family, this is not one. One misunderstanding and you’re tossed to the trash can no matter what you’ve got going on medically! Shame on these doctors for making me feel this way and having to go through the the trouble of finding a new provider while I have a major medical situation.

If you are looking for good care for your child this is not the place. The last time we went in Dr. Wind was so rude and condescending… Even yelling at the poor coordinator for trying to assist us which we heard from her office. He is completely unprofessional and lacks care and respect. Dr. Davenport would diagnose our son with anything he thought off the top of his head instead of doing any actual testing on our son which was normally wrong when we would end up taking him to urgent care because our son wouldn’t get any better. After hearing Wind yell at mrs Beverly we try to make an appointment again and they will not answer our calls or assist us any further with our child. We have given them so many chances to prove themselves as a practice but they are not trust worthy nor professional and every parent should know that they will treat you and your child poorly especially if you’re a woman.

I have not been to a doctor in years, I was nervous to go when I got there staff was amazing. I was able to talk to the doctor withing minutes of arriving. My Doctor was very thorough and informative. Eased my mind and I was able to talk to him after my appointment when I had questions. He was patient and very kind. Nurses were sweet and very good at their job. Glad I was able to find them and glad they accepted me as their patient even if I have many questions and keep bothering them. Thank you all keep up the amazing work.

I, my husband, my 4 daughters, and my sister are all seen here. It's very hard to find medical professionals who are willing to listen to your concerns and then act on those concerns. I always feel like I'm part of the medical decisions pertaining to my care here. Dr. Wind is especially considerate and PA D-Ray (Davenport-Ray) is very in tune with my daughter's neurodivergent needs. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone I know.
