Shelly introduced me to EFT tapping (lots of resources on YouTube ) which has helped in some areas. She did not instruct me on this technique or use it in session, but did direct me to resources on YouTube. She also utilized talk therapy, which did not help me so much. I feel I can talk to other people and get that need met. I am dealing with grief and other issues. Shelly was not a good fit for me, or maybe I wasn’t a good fit for her. I felt she took our last session too personal. I maybe wrong, but it was our last session 😂She did give me references for other therapists that use different therapy techniques so there’s that ❤️

Shelly is a refreshing, extremely capable, compassionate, humble, intelligent, and wise mental/holistic health practitioner. Her flexibility and skills with numerous modalities means as a client you receive the benefit of a smorgasbord of healing techniques that she custom tailors to whatever you need to be your truest self. If you prefer straight up therapy, she's got you covered. If you're looking for alternative/energy/meditative techniques, she's experienced in these approaches as well. You need a mix - as in my case- she's a good bet. It's true that selecting a therapist that is right for you can be a tedious, hit-or- miss activity. With Shelly, I knew immediately that she was a safe and sound choice for me. Highly subjective, I know, but I've never had the rapport that I have with Shelly with any other therapists I've seen in the past (not that I've seen a ton). With her eclectic approach, it made it much easier to build trust. I was able to articulate the areas I needed help in and feel hopeful throughout the process because of the clear evidence of change and growth. Kudos to Shelly. Felt like a team approach, which I very much appreciated. Highly recommend!
