My dad spent around 3 weeks at PAM after leaving Doctors HCA. We had a wonderful experience here. Andy, CEO, gets to know you and the family. You know when a place is being run properly when the CEO, as a former therapist, will come and work with the patient as well and even change a bed. That spoke volumes to me. The doctors, nurses, and PT were all very attentive. Wound care is amazing, they finally got his wound under control! It was always very clean and never had that “facility” smell. Overall a very positive experience and would highly recommend!

I recently spent two months at Pam Specialty Hospital of Sarasota and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The staff was exceptionally caring and attentive, always ensuring my comfort and well-being. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The medical team was thorough and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain my treatment options and answering all my questions.

Additionally, the support services, including nutrition and therapy, were top-notch and contributed significantly to recovery.

Overall, my experience was positive, and I felt well-supported throughout my stay. I am grateful for the compassionate care that was received by my fiancé and would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

The absolute worst facility to send your family to. It has been a literal nightmare dealing with corporate greed-driven "professionals" with no empathy. We had to fight to get my grandmother out of there because she was, in all meanings of the word, SCARED to be at PAM. No one actually cares, it's all about money, she was just another number to bill insurance for, it was horrible. Please do not bring your family here. They will leave worse off - IF the doctors will even "allow" discharge. To say that sinister things are happening here is putting it lightly.

Not to Happy about the service, you ask questions to the nurse and they know anything, they don't have answers, I spend a whole week going every day to see my husband and was never able to speak to a Dr.Newcom.also my husband needs a EEG and took two weeks to get an order and went they did it they didn't have a neurologist to read it. Still waiting. Not Happy at all.

We were promised that my father would be taken care of and rehabilitated, so he could be successful at his next residence and that he would be there 20-25 days, maybe longer. My father was improving. His lungs were clear; his oxygen levels were high; his fluid build up was decreasing; his leg wounds were healing and PT had him sitting up. He was kicked out on day 18 and sent to a lesser equipped facility who were told he was coming 2 hrs before he arrived and weren't prepared. He started to regress within a week. Everything the nurses and therapists had done to help was erased quickly. The Dr. who signed off on his release never had any communication with us. I told the facility how displeased we were, but it didn't matter. He was just another number; not to the nurses and people who actually took care of him, but to the higher ups. We had such high hopes and were let down in the worst way.

I've had more than my fair share of hospital stays. I've never been to PAM nor had I heard of them. I don't like change and was very reluctant to come here. Between my complex illnesses and what seems to be non-stop procedures I went into a depression and anxiety. I felt hopeless and seriously considered going on Hospice. I took my daughter's advice to give this place a try. After all, what did I have to lose.im so happy that I did. From the moment I arrived I was treated like I was their one and only priority. Everyone from housekeeping to the doctors are amazing. I've only been here a short while but it's already made a huge difference in me, both mentally and physically. I now see wake with a smile. I know I'm going to get better, I'm already seeing and feeling the improvement. My support team at home and here is awesome! I highly recommend PAM. It's a privilege to be here. Thank you PAM for saving me on all aspects. There's a special place in heaven for these people.

Our loved one was at PAM in Sarasota for over a month in respiratory rehab. The entire team was excellent. They were professional and compassionate. The environment was clean and welcoming to visitors. By the time my parent was discharged we knew a lot of staff by name and had gotten to know some of the staff through their friendly conversation.

I understand that every person's experience in this type of setting will be different, but my family highly recommends this facility based on our shared experiences there.

PAM gave our son Daniel great care. The doctors, nurses and all employed there were very kind and helpful. They worked hard to get him to where he could move on to the next level of rehab care at Brooks Rehabilitation hospital in Jacksonville. My wife and I greatly appreciate everyone at PAM!!!
