I came in the ER because I was having my first panic attack, whatever. I listed every symptom I was experiencing and the Doctors and nurses only worried about the anxiety and sent me away with only anxiety meds and 'well get a psychologist' I HAVE POTS!! They didnt listen to me! Do not go here if you were born a woman they will say you are mentally ill or overweight and send you away! J. Foster WILL NOT LISTEN

The Medical Center treated my problem but be mindful that apparently their ER Doctors are contracted through a different company. So a year or two later you'll get a surprise medical bill from the Contractor that is horrible at submitting their information to your insurance, forcing you to do their job while they threaten to send your bill to collection. Trying to contact them is a nightmare, too. They'll send you chasing your own tail in circles for information that is always missing something. Just be prepared to deal with a headache and your first medical bill is NOT going to be your last.

I had a great experience yesterday at the ER. My nurses were kind and everyone had a welcoming attitude. My doctor was thorough with her work up and made sure I knew what to do after discharge. The CT scan tech was also very nice and experienced. She communicated what was happening and how I’d feel.

I appreciate this team for making me feel better.

We’ve unfortunately had to visit the ER too many times in the past few months with our elderly mother. As well as having her admitted. First let me say, the entrance to ER is being remodeled, but it has not affected their care for patients. We have had great experience with most the staff , nurses and doctors. But if we could clone two particular ones that just go above and beyond for our elderly mom, we would want them always. In the ER we have had a particular nurse that shows true compassion and excellent with our elderly mother, his name is LEO, regardless of her age, he makes us feel he truly cares about her wellbeing. Unfortunately yes her age does allow some staff at other locations to disregard her care, so we make it a point to come to this emergency room, knowing most are great, and LEO has been exceptional with her each time.
While admitted we had the honor of having probably the best Dr yet, who showed once again true concern and compassion toward our mother, regardless of her age. She explained things so well, and really looked for bridges to help her situation rather than road blocks due to her age. Her name is Dr. Samantha Mason. We felt the most comforted finally today as she took her time to really explain things and left us comfortable with decisions. Two incredible staff members that just go above and beyond to show they truly care. Again, we have had great staff overall for the most part at this location.

Came in with head injury. Got a ct scan came back fine. Doctor failed to tell me I had a concussion. I ended up back at the urgent care after work with a bad headache. At the urgent care IN THE ER NOTES HE WROTE I HAD ONE. He never mentioned this to me. Never told me to take time off. Didn't write a doctors note. Alex Huang is the name of the doctor. Definitely needs a talking to at minimum. He even left the issues addressed portion of my emergency room discharge papers blank.

Horrible Hospital! Well ER for that matter. You wait in hallways forever, to be seen 4+ hours later. And even then, they don't care and leave you to fend for yourself. The male nurse that helped me, spent 2 minutes with me after I got to the back. Said he was going to get my meds that Dr had ordered to help me breath, etc, and never came back!! Ever! Seriously! 40 minutes later I asked and insisted to be helped, and was told they went thru shift change and then another 20 min later, finally a new nurse helped me. The other one, just went home!! Can you imagine? He should be fired! Horrible treatment! If you need to be seen, you are much much better off going elsewhere. Like Palomar, or UCSD. I will never return to this hospital again! And I only live 3 miles from it!! That's a hard no! I will drive to another one, (and have a couple times now) and be seen elsewhere. I mean, it's your life we are talking about here. And if they are so obviously horrible at their job and don't care, I wouldn't risk it.
Hospital is also, old, dingy and dirty. Understaffed, not alot of room and no one cares. Once upon a time this use to be a great hospital! Definitely not anymore!
Good luck with that.

I’ve only been once but I was having a really bad sickle cell crisis and everyone from the entrance of the hospital to the back were kind. I can see how people would rate it low because it is a small hospital and if you go when they are busy, they probably won’t have the space to get to you quickly. It was not busy when I went. I was grateful for my nurse and everyone who helped me out, including the triage nurse who helped me walk from my car to the ER.

Unfortunately, I've no other option at this stage except for leaving this review here to warn any potential patients from using this facility. I'm having some urgent issue for some time and it's virtually impossible to schedule an appointment with YOUR physician earlier then 3 months out. The personnel is also not helpful continuously repeating information regarding how busy they are and not even passing the messages to the doctor. Reaching appointments on the phone takes 15+ minutes. They have no waitlist available and you have to call several times a day to look for cancellations not knowing when/if they can happen. The personnel answering the phone doesn't care about patients and not even trying to be helpful. Using Emergency results in getting Advil "prescription". No usable online app is available. In addition, they appeared to have data breach recently and were not able to access their own records or even receive phone calls for several months. I'm not using their services even in case of emergency any longer and recommend to avoid at all cost and use other providers.
