I recently visited Dr. Capezzuti for the first time with my mother after changing her physician. We found out about Palm Medical Center through Amy P. I must say we were very satisfied with the office. We had almost lost hope in the healthcare system. Dr. Capezzuti was attentive. She answered all of our questions. I am satisfied not only with Dr. Capezzuti and staff but the entire process. After we left the office within a matter of hours I received my mother’s referrals, prescriptions were sent to pharmacy and diagnostic information provided. All I had to do was schedule my mother’s appointments. This is what healthcare should look like…..quality care & service. Thank you Dr. Capezzuti, Amy and staff. You are doing an excellent job 😊

My Doctor Jennifer Capezzuti was helpful, thorough and pleasant as she listened to me. I was happy to hear my lungs were clear. All staff were very pleasant and friendly.

I made an appointment with this doctors office some time in June, made sure to ask if they took my new insurance and they said yes. The appointment day comes around and they tell me they don’t have an appointment for me but they have my name listed in their system as a new patient. I asked to reschedule a new appointment for August and then gave them my insurance again. My appointment is supposed to be tomorrow and I got a call stating they don’t have my new insurance so I gave it to them (for the third time) and they said everything is good I just have to add them as my PCP with my insurance. Come to find out when I called my insurance they say that this doctors office doesn’t take my insurance (even though I asked them multiple times before booking the appointment). I am extremely upset and appalled by this office. Train y’all staff properly to understand insurance and update information properly. I could have gotten an appointment with a doctor that actually takes my insurance and now I’m going to have to wait probably another month to see another doctor that actually takes my insurance. If I could give this place a zero I would.

I don’t recommend this place or Dr. Capezzuti! My father made an appointment with Dr. CAPEZZUTI because he wasn’t feeling good turned out he Was Covid positive he’s said that he’s in the exam room in the back and hear Dr CAPEZZUTI in the front office yelling. He’s positive for Covid and his mask is barely covering his mouth now we’re all exposed. My dad didn’t deserve that he felt humiliated and mortified. Shame on you Dr CAPEZZUTI

Being from NYC, I am used to the care I get in a hospital, Urgent Care, or primary doctors. Generally, they are all professional and get right to the task at hand but often they remain professional and you will always be Mr, Mrs, Ms, Mz and so forth.
Here at this place, the staff makes me so comfortable.
There is Keeva, the spokesperson for Palm Medical, and the very first one I encountered. I was asked to come to the Oakland Park Blvd location for an orientation and walk thru so I can see the facility.
I met with Keeva who showed me the facility and her co-workers and explained what everyone's position there.
They had a rep from Aetna named Scott that guided me through the insurance and placed with a plan that was superior, to say the least.
I finished with him and then joined Keeva for the tour.

I was introduced to Betsy, Estelle, Rikkia, and Miguel ( newly appointed office manager).

I am the type of person that thrives on being kind, personable, outgoing, humorous, and never, ever rude even when feeling cranky I never take it out on people.

I had to date, 3 appointments with them, and each of them was enjoyable, relaxing and fun.

I call Rikkia "Needles" because she takes my blood, Betsy I call Betts because her actual name is Betsdabets ( I think that is how it is spelled) Estelle I call "E" because I always confuse her name with Ester, Essy or similar so it's easier to call her E.

When I deal with people I always approach them with some humor and the reason for that is because generally, humor breaks the ice and a more comfortable attitude.
In NYC most just act so professional and really do not have that much time so I can't blame them.
Here they make you feel like family. All are so warm, kind, friendly, and appreciate some humor.

When it comes to medical I like most am concerned and anxious when we go to a doctor.
These people here make me feel like family ie: I was in a great deal of pain and called Keeva ( She gave me her number which is available 24/7 ) to set me up with an appointment to see the doctor. She was so concerned about me that the following morning she called me. I said I took some motrin 200mg and it was better. I said she did not have to call me that I was fine and she told me she had not slept that well the night before because she was concerned about me!
What medical institution has employees that do that?
A married woman with children and she could not sleep because she was concerned about basically a stranger in her life like that?

Get my point here?

All the staff to me has become immediate family! I am blessed to have people, besides my real family, who care about my health and well-being and I am not just another patient bringing in business.
I feel I have hit the Mega Lottery with them because I am now so rich with love and care. They are not "business-minded" They are truly caring people and genuine and I look so forward to each of my appointments knowing I am coming to people who truly care.

I was taught when I was in Law Enforcement that when you deal with people never call them by their full name, or Mr, Mrs. Ms because then you turn into a business mode. I always insist on a first-name basis because then you created a personal level and people respond much better.

Well there they have to call you by your last name because it is a policy but I'm working on changing that 😉

I love this staff!

Thank you so much for "the real" warmth, and genuine care you guys give me! xoxoxo
