If you have an appointment and just go in for basic stuff it's good in and out. However if you are looking for specific help such as signed forms or something like that it's such a terrible experience. The admins don't ensure that the forms are properly filled out it's almost like they are just there to check a box. Ive been trying to get a form filled out for about two months now. The phone number listed is also not their number but a number to the call center in Loma Linda. It's so frustrating when people are not doing what they should be doing. I mean that's your job so if you're not doing that then what are you doing?

How does the place have 4 stars.. they refused to help me im 100% service connected. They told me they couldn't help me. Word for word they there's nothing we can do for you. This person who said this was a dr.

I really love this place. It's been here for a year or 2. But today was icing on the cake. I have an appointment to see my doctor tomorrow for annual visit. Haven't had a chance to go for labs till today. The young lady that helped me was nothing short of amazing. Taking blood from me can be difficult, from past experience. The lab tech today, Cheryl P., was awesome to say the least. With no appointment, she had me in, found the best vein, no pain at all, took 3 miles, and I was out of there. I've been in there longer with an appointment. My hats off to the VA. I've never seen her there before, but you got a great lab tech with Cheryl. Great job!

I have the most horrific experience with Leslie. I have an infection and VA Loma Linda arranged for my antibiotic shot to be administered at this clinic. I gave her information requested, she said she’ll call me bac, never did. Called her back, she stated that she’s communicating with the Nurse. Frustrated I finally set up an appointment for 1:30 10/24/24. She informed me that the nurse Sarah will call me. I doubt, if that information is accurate.
I am a Nurse with post grad degree and a Veteran. I am going to file an official complaint and will go as high as I can and will include VA Rep in the Senate. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE WITH THI VETERAN..

The new location sucks. Wait hours after scheduled appointment times. Not even the VA, some 3rd party. They've fired or replaced all the doctors we used to have. The peaceful location we once had is now in one of the busiest and most inconvenient spots. Feels like they've short-cutting everything they possibly can to deny any actual care while they order us medications and don't give us a follow up call to tell us why they prescribed them to us. This place is the absolute bare minimum of care.

No phone direct to Palm Desert Clinic. Have to call Loma Linda and get transferred many times. Today is Sept. 7, 2023 and my Dr. ordered blood labs to be done by Sept. 13. After several calls and wait times exceeding 25 minutes, was finally transferred to Palm Desert to be told not accepting phlebotomy appointments until after Sept.18 due to "staffing issues" and am now waiting for a call back.This has been a recurring issue. Congressman Raul Ruiz will be notified as well as Patient Advocacy. Not acceptable treatment for any Veteran.
UPDATE: I did receive a call from Congressman - (D) Raul Ruiz's office and gave me a direct number to them to report any further issues. 5 months later still having same problem.
UPDATE: As of May 1, 2024 they now have their own Phlebotomy Services on site with no appointments required. System, appears to be faster and smoother at this time. Phlebotomy no longer contracted by private company. Yeah! Also, more medical services available.
