I’ve been going here for years now, and while I really appreciated the service at first, it slowly got less and less personal. A two minute phone call charged at full price obviously just to refill my meds isn’t the best, I get I have to check in, but here’s where I’m disappointed.

My last three appointments have been cancelled and changed on me, even day of. Some man I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude, and they’re changing your appointments last minute and switching providers on you. I’m completely out of my medication and due to the fact they keep rescheduling I had to book an urgent care appointment just to refill a quick prescription that’s never changed.

Anyways, super over the service here- it’s rude, and impersonal, and chaotic. I’ll be looking for a new provider.

Update: it's gotten worse

I've now almost hit 30 days without meds due to a lack of answers from PA, PA assistant and prior authorization dept. I have never dealt with anything like this. It's impossible to get things done to get medications covered and if my insurance would allow me to do it on my own I wouldve had this done 3 weeks ago. Do not come here if your insurance ever needs any level of documentation and you want to get your meds in a timely fashion.

I had a really great PA before and once she left it's been rough. The providers rush me off the phone every time and sre never on time to the appointments.

Trying to get prior authorization or any documentation done is like pulling teeth and either the department doesn't answer, or someone doesn't know where to send it. I just want to be able to get my meds and have answers to when these forms will be submitted. The forms itself take less than 5 mins to fill out so it's very frustrating that it can take 12 business days to be completed and I still have no update on if it'll be longer than 12 days.

I just called this office, and the experience was disappointing. The operator was impatient when I asked for more information about the doctors before providing my personal details. They seemed rushed and abruptly cut the conversation short as soon as I expressed concern about being scheduled with a PA instead of an MD. If this is how they treat potential new patients, I would be worried about the ongoing service...

My wife sees esperanza, she is very nice, patient and non judgemental. She seems like she genuinely cares about her patients. We also saw Jennifer Sebastian for a second opinion, she seems like she's knows what she is doing, she is nice, upfront and honest, we showed her medications that another phsyciatrist had prescribed. She was honest and said she felt like the other phsyciatrist was doing a good job. She did not try and convince us to switch to her. Also she is laid back. The office smells really good, it's clean and peaceful

Dr Alva and his staff are very professional and personable. Dr Alva was patient, attentive, thorough, compassionate and created a positive engaging environment. He took the time to answer all questions and explain a treatment plan. He was responsive and made the patient and family feel comfortable and respected which helped to develop a trusting relationship.

I like the fact that they send you messages before your appointment to make sure you’re Aware. And the host staff is very nice and my doctor Yvette Elpidio i is great.

Dr. Andrew, patiently and friendly never feeling shy for what your sickness needs with him.
The office staff very friendly and passionately with you and your paperwork and schedule as well.

Dr Alva has been my son's psychiatrist for many years. He is the only Dr my son has ever trusted and actually looks forward to seeing. It took awhile to stabilize him on the right medication but Dr A is always open to feedback and suggestions. He is friendly and personable and we both love him.
