The young lady who answered my call regarding a cane for my mother was rude and short, telling me they don’t carry canes even before I got the words out of my mouth. When I asked if she could point me in the right direction, she asked what area I lived in and when I told her, she said she was in Susanville and didn’t know any other areas. I asked for a local number near Redding so perhaps they could assist me, and she said all offices are the same and they won’t help me because they don’t carry canes.
I understand that the company doesn’t carry canes, but having a bit more compassion to the patient and their family, and being less rude and cutting people off would go a long way to retain patients and customers in the future.

Stay away from here. The lady I spoke with was rude and would not give me any information that I needed. Go to Lincare.

Most of the time Owens is great BUT not this time. The other guys helped me out out of a bind. I was on a work trip to Medford, OR. I brought my CPAP machine but I forgot the power adapter and cord. I didn't realize this until my first evening when I couldn't use my machine. Needless to say I didn't sleep well. First thing in the morning I called Owens to see if they could do anything for me; left a message. 1. They didn't call back, and 2. when I called back they basically said Sorry, No. So I hunted for medical equipment providers, one told me to call Lincare. I explained my situation, and after a brief time on hold they said they had one I could borrow. I went in, I picked it up, they didn't take any information, just gave it to me. I made sure to give it back at the end of the week. This simple act made my week great and I wanted to say Thank You... to Lincare! Sorry Owens, you didn't come through for me this time.

We went back multiple times to let them know my husband's cpap machine wasn't working correctly. The person he talked to was rude and didn't care. He now has to return the machine or pay $4000. I Definitely don't recommend going there unless you are forced to.

Owens truly cares about their customers. Many times they go above and beyond without anyone even knowing. If you want to go to a place where there are knowledgeable, caring staff members - go to Owens! 🙂
