I am delighted to share my glowing review of Dr. Luke and Nurse Crosby.

From the very first visit, Dr. Luke demonstrated a remarkable blend of professionalism, compassion, and expertise. She takes the time to listen attentively, ensuring all our concerns are addressed and making us feel truly heard. Her thoughtful approach to treatment and prevention has been instrumental in keeping our daughter healthy and happy. It’s evident that Dr. Luke genuinely cares about her patients, going above and beyond to provide personalized care.

Nurse Crosby is equally impressive. Her warm, friendly demeanor and gentle approach have made every visit comfortable and reassuring for both our daughter and us. Nurse Crosby’s efficiency and kindness complement Dr. Luke’s care perfectly, creating a nurturing environment that puts both children and parents at ease.

Thank you, Dr. Luke and Nurse Crosby, for all that you do!

We love Over the Mountain and especially Dr. Luke! She is a fantastic doctor and very pleasant which has been a breath of fresh air as first time parents with a newborn. The staff and nurses have all been wonderful as well. Anytime I send a message/concern through the portal it is always answered within an hour. Highly recommend!

Their is lack of communication with the people whom were at the desk and answer the phone honestly some are good but most are horrible they don’t listen to your concerns or really help you with any problem. You can definitely tell they don’t wanna be there because they take it out on you. When I’m asking help about my child I would like some sort of help all I get is where gonna get a nurse to talk to you. And they are ready to hang up I get a little hot headed when it comes to my child not gonna lie but I’m supposed to and I only do when I’ve been pushed to that point and it takes a lot. A lot of things are dismissed and looked at as un important their the doctor is good for sure but who ever works the desk needs to get a new job and they need to find somebody who can actually talk to parents.

We have seen about 4 different doctors at this practice, and we have loved every one. Our regular doc is Dr. Baxley. She seems to genuinely care, and she thoroughly explains everything. We are very thankful for her! They are also great about getting you in the same day for sick appointments. Most of the ladies at the front desk have been welcoming, and even though they are quiet - they are sweet! Just understandably busy. My children are very comfortable with all the staff.

Amazing, kind nurses, and Dr.Hodges has been my doctor and now my children’s for over 2 decades. However, my experience with the front-desk ladies is that, over the phone, they are extremely unpleasant anytime a call doesn’t go extremely smoothly. I got my daughters immunization records uploaded to portal 2 weeks ago and it was free, and today when I called for my sons to be done so, the receptionist began saying it would be $5 and I admittedly interpreted and asked “wait, why? I just got my daughters the other day and it was free—“ and the woman was interrupting me the entire sentence saying “ma’am, maam, ma’am” until I stopped talking, before telling me it was a new system. I understood, that’s FINE, I just didn’t know and I apologized. She took my info but the passive rudeness and irritation that exuded from her even over the phone was palpable. When the call was over I said “Alright, thank you so much. Have a great day” (I’ve been in customer service for a decade lol; these are things ingrained in us to say, because it’s polite) and she responded by hanging up. That’s just universally known to be a sign of irritation and disrespect. Empathy and patience are key, especially when working with kids and occasionally frustrated parents. Please act as though you’re being paid to do your job and stop treating people ugly there. I am not the first person to have this experience with rude, unprofessional behavior unbecoming of OTMP

We’ve been using Dr.Baxley at Over the Mountain pediatrics for 10 years now for my son and 2 years with my daughter. She has always been fabulous and addressed all questions and concerns. We’ve always been able to get same day sick appointments if needed and the front office staff are always accommodating, Never had an issue with anyone! Everyone is always friendly!

I went to here since i was very little, always treated great by my usual pediatrician. However a few years back I was prescribed prozac at 14 by a stand in pediatrician. Almost lead to a suicide and I had multiple complete breakdowns. Don't let these doctors prescribe your children with depression... I intend on pressing legal action against this hospital and a certain specific doctor for robbing my teenage years from me and costing my parents thousands of dollars in medical expenses for therapy, doctor visits, psych ward visits , etc. And now that I'm off my medications I realise it was all a waste. I recommend no one bring their kid here if they are feeling down. This is a grave dissapointment to me and my family and I will be pursuing financial compensation.
