I had an absolutely wonderful experience at South Lake Hospital’s Women’s Center! From the moment I arrived for my induction to the day I was discharged with my healthy baby girl, every aspect of my care was exceptional. The nurses were incredibly sweet, caring, and attentive, ensuring I was comfortable while also allowing me the rest I needed.

The anesthesiologist did a phenomenal job with my epidural—this was my fifth, and it was by far the smoothest experience I’ve had. Dr. Perez with South Lake OBGYN was amazing, and I felt completely safe and well cared for throughout my labor and delivery.

I can’t recommend South Lake Hospital’s Women’s Center enough for anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality maternity care. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a positive and memorable experience!

Amazing care from everyone. I spent over a week in the hospital and was extremely grateful to have the staff that I encountered.
It as an extremely painful week for me and never felt like I wasn’t a priority.
Very happy to have this hospital in our community.

I don’t even know how to start.. I went in for an induction and natural labor .. unfortunately I ended up pushing for 3 hours and needing a c- section. The whole entire time from registration all the way to the postpartum, then follow up calls after we were discharged the medical staff was AMAZING. They were human, they cared and obviously love their job. I was devastated to not be able to labor naturally but if it wasn’t for this hospital’s care it would have been worse. We are SO grateful for everyone, truly!!!! I loved my experience there. To name a few nurses Patti was an angel took care of our baby from 2a-6am so we could get some sleep. Kami, Stephania always made sure I was comfortable. Linda and Lisa so patient to help breastfeed.

My only “complaint/critique” with the actual hospital is that the labor and delivery room was so huge and nice, while the postpartum room was tight with the couch under the cold AC vent .. that’s not a huge issue .. but it would have been a lot nicer to have stayed in the first room ☺️ Thank you everyone !!!!

This is my third time delivering at South Lake and by far this was the BEST experience I’ve ever had! From the kind interaction from the woman in registration to the labor and delivery team that helped me prepare for the arrival of my first son. Mahogany, Patty, Melanie and Dr. Perez were the absolute best team I could have ever prayed for. The nurses were spectacular and very attentive once we arrived at our room and throughout our stay. I’m so grateful to everyone who played a part in my very last delivery experience, I’m blessed for each and every one of you!

No one loves a hospital but if you have to go, this is a nice one in both aesthetics and staff friendliness. I’ve been for several routine outpatient visits. Kindness, patience and attention from everyone- valet, security, greeters, techs and nurses was outstanding. Thank you for that. People need it - especially at a hospital. I was in south lake hospital for 3 days, with a chest in infection. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Even the hospital food was good. They came into my room on the 3rd day and offered me to be able to go home and still remain an inpatient at South Lake. I was put into the program the next day and I cannot say enough about it. The nurses, the doctors and the nurse practitioners were absolutely amazing ! They were all very caring, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. All of their, practical medical skills were unsurpassed by any one that I have ever been treated by in my entire life. The home inpatient program was incredibly well put together and extremely well managed. I consider this to be the future of medicine. Thank you to everyone involved.

Has to stay at Orlando health south lake with my son for seizures. Let me start by saying we’ve been here for two days. Literally ALL the staff has been amazing , from the administration to the nurses, drs, even the nutrition staff that brings meals , CHRIS, IAN, just to mention a couple were super sweet UNTIL THIS MORNING!!! We encountered SHELLY!! This woman, she’s an RN , came in this moving, was rude, disrespectful to me telling me that she will give my son his medicine when she feels fit and that he’s not the only patient she has and this is because I asked her to give his meds. She went on to tell me that she was not going to allow me to dictate how she was going to do her job! I’m not sure if she’s not feeling well or just having a bad day but she was so ride and disrespectful that I had to get the charge nurse to remove her from the room!! As I said everyone else has been so sweet, kind, accommodating, going above and beyond my expectations. Until SHELLY happened!! This woman does not belong in healthcare, has a terrible bedside manner and should be reprimanded for the way she treated me!! Would have given 5 stars until this morning
