Be Careful, Health Central has not changed.

The shift turned over and I am currently with Nurse Lisa and the 5th floor. I’m in massive pain and I was threaten by her that if I do not get up and walk I will not be given my pain medication. So despite my pain I got up and walked. I came back to my room and waited in pain for over 2 hours but nurse Lisa never came back. So I had my sister go ask them for my pain medication because now my pain level is at a 9 and she told me she will not give me. I asked to speak with the the nurse lead Sierra over 45 minutes ago and she has yet to come into my room. I’m sitting here in massive pain burning up from inside out with no help.
Be Careful Health Central is still a horrible place.

My doctor recommended that I go to the ER immediately. I contemplated on Health Central or Advent Health but since my house is closer to Health Central, I ended up there. Admission was kind & professional. ER nurse Christian along with the ER PA & the ER doctor was AMAZING! Christian was so empathetic, professional and helpful. I was admitted for surgery the next day. On to the 5th floor nurse Emily and nurse Akai were compassionate and trustworthy.

Excellent service! They treat you with respect and kindness. I’ve had two knee replacements performed at the hospital with 3 day stays each time. No complaints about the caring, management, and attention received. Just had my third surgical intervention, this time ambulatory, dame great experience.

I went in on Friday morning 2/28 about 8:30am, from the time I got there everyone was so sweet and kind. I can not remember the nurses name in the emergency room but she was super sweet and we laughed and talked while being compelling professional getting her work done. The doctors, transport people to and from CT scan and ultra sound were great. I was in room a5. Then when I was admitted into the CDU room 105, the nurses and techs were so sweet and helpful. I only had them for past of a day so I can't remember all of their names but Mayleen (I think), Debbie, Angel, Mya, and a few more (I'm horrible with names) made sure I had what I needed at all times. Head RN Dee made sure everyone was treating me good and I had no issues. The tech that was in for the thoracentesis was very personable and we sat and spoke and laughed while waiting on transport. They all helped keep my nerves down, I was comfortable with what was going on, answered any and all questions I had.
To be an emergency room visit and an unexpected admittance, it's was one of the best.
The doctors were all really nice and professional but listened to everything that needed to said.

If I could give a zero, I would. I went in a 3:00 check-in, which was perfect as soon as one of the nurses weighed me. That's when it went to hell. The first nurse who took my vitals was very rude, very unprofessional, and very unfriendly. You could just feel her vibe. ( word of advice if you are not going to be a people person, please do not work in healthcare) then I was brought back in a room they took my blood, hook me up to a monitor. I was fine after 3 hours of waiting because I worked in the medical field. I know how it is I was understanding, but then they kept doing test and giving me excuses on what was taking so long. I did all of the test they wanted me to do. I just wanted to know my results. After I informed the nurse I wanted to leave after 6 hours waiting the Dr want to pop in and give me some results that I already know I was expecting some kind of prescription or something to help with my pain. I went just to wait and waste my time. I tried to give you guys another shot since my grandma passed away in this hospital. Honestly, it's the same thing, everytime. Your Healthcare your suppose to be there for people, not let them sit and collect a check. Before hiring anyone do you background . Please ORLANDO HEALTH DO BETTER

I was admitted to Orlando Health -Health Central Hospital for surgery. In the weeks prior to this admission I received numerous phone calls and texts to keep me updated on expectations, appointment scheduling, meetings, contacts if needed to answer questions, etc. By the time I actually went for the surgery, I felt completely comfortable with my situation and had had all my questions answered. The surgery and after care showed the same attention to detail. I cannot praise this hospital and staff enough. Naturally, as a single patient, I did not deal with all of the hospital workers. However, all with whom I did deal were caring and immediately ready to help with any situation or questions that arose - without exception! Things were done on schedule and within a very friendly atmosphere. This hospital and staff are truly amazing!!! I rarely write reviews for anything, but it would be a true disservice to all if I did not assign it the highest positivity rating possible and then have it printed in a review to help others trying to make critical decisions regarding their own personal treatment and care. This is an outstanding facility staffed with intelligent, caring individuals. I am happy to give the hospital and its workers a 5-star rating without any reservation. My personal thanks to all!

The Doctor who treated me and all the staff who also treated me, we're explaining everything very well clear and nice, they found the source of my pain and condition for which I visited the ER,
Something that my previous Doctors before my now primary Elliott vennecia. didn't do,
They comunícate with my primary doctor and got her updated with my visit to the ER, she also called me at the hospital phone and explained everything also, grateful for that 🙏,
Also the staff called me after being discharge to se my update and helped me with answers to questions I had.
From one to ten I give a 10 for my treatment and stay at the hospital,
Thank you so much,
Now I know what I have and what is the next step to follow up with my treatment.

Only go here if you’re ready to die. You will be ignored. I arrived with chest pains due to a pulmonary embolism and shortness of breath and complained of pain in my lower left leg. They still left me in the lobby for 40 minutes before putting me in a room. I was very detailed about what I was experiencing to Ingrid the PA who for whatever reason did not log into any internal system she just was writing stuff down on blank cut up pieces of paper. I didn’t mind her asking questions I already told her because I thought she would actually help but that was clearly just wishful thinking. When the doctor (Dr. Sameer Draviam) finally came he asked if I was homeless and why was I not taking my meds. As if I did not state I was released at 3 p.m. and was back in the hospital not even 5 5 later. There was no time to take the medication. He said well it will take about 2 weeks before you feel better, I asked if I should just limp around for 2 weeks then and I am only 27. He was confused as to why I said limp and I said my leg, he offered me muscle relaxers never examined me. And the nurse Ariel Guerrero (Latino man) stopped helping me once I told him I refused to let a UCF nursing student insert a needle in my arm. I already have small veins which takes healthcare professionals sometimes even doctors a while before they find it. I explained why and you could feel his attitude. He did not even have her watch as a learning experience but my arm is what got the worst of it. Best part is they never started any type of IV. So why did I get a needle put in me? After the doctor insulted me and calling Ariel for an hour to no avail I left. I also have a screenshot of them texting me as if the damage was not already done. And the best part, if I was not smart enough to go somewhere else I could very much be dead right now since a blood clot was found in my leg. Had they actually listened to me I could have received treatment sooner.

My Father was here for just over a week. The staff is friendly and courteous from the front security area to the doctors! The hospital is very clean, easy to get around, rooms are like hotel rooms! They allowed us to stay overnight with Dad while he recuperated The exterior is beyond beautiful. Mostly the consistency in good care and courtesy we received was top notch.
