Dr. Williamson and the staff have always been pleasant and comfortable to engage given the type of exam you are undergoing. Dr. Williamson was very knowledgeable and identified concerns on the first visit. Scheduled surgery identified further and removed problem. He and his staff were exceptional during followup care the last two years. Bottom line knowing I have this office as part of my care team I feel privileged appreciate you and you team. I’m 41 and wouldn’t normally have this type of exam until I’m 50 by then it could have been the cause of death for me. Thank you for your due diligence Doc. No photos for obvious reasons, duh!

Dr. Andrea Ferrera is amazing. The best doctor/surgeon in the area. However the scheduler, Victoria, is the worst, rudest office personell I have ever encountered and I have been in the medical field for over 20 years. Always on several calls and never returns calls. When you do speak with her she is very dismissive and unprofessional like you are bothering her. She talks over you and never says good bye, she just hangs up. I called to confirm my appointment which I had correct and she completely gave me wrong dates which caused me to miss very important post-op visit. I drive 2 1/2 hrs each way so it was very inconvenient and a waste day. If Dr. Ferrara wasn't so good I would definitely find another facility. Victoria needs to be fired!!!!

I have been attempting to schedule at this office as a new patient since August. I used the online system to request an appointment, sent over all my info to the scheduler, and am unable to reach anyone. I tried leaving messages with the new patient scheduler and have never received a call back. I spoke to the existing patient scheduler and tried to get help with scheduling a new appointment and she was pretty dismissive. I work for Orlando Health do not typically have this experience with them. I am not feeling too great about having to make an appointment with my organizations direct competitor just so I can get my issue addressed.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with the rude staff. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it.
I called for MONTHS trying to get an appointment. I gave up. Then the day before I left the country for 2 weeks I finally get a phone call from them asking if I would like to schedule. I did and put it in my phone calendar I thought in December but I put it in November and got the notification while I was in another country. I called (with my partners international phone) and they actually picked up... just to make sure it was in fact in December.
Fast forward to this week... I called every day sometimes more than once. Left several messages cause I hadn't received anything from them. I needed to confirm time and day. I did get an automated message that my vm picked up but it cut off time and day.
Finally today I got through to someone who wouldn't let me talk. She kept interrupting and being BLATANTLY rude. Saying she wasn't aware of anyone calling for day's. Can't wait to see her face to face cause I am not that B if you know what I mean! She claimed someone sent me an email but I did not receive it and it wasn't in spam either. Typically doctor's offices WANT to confirm you're going to be there. I've never experienced people who just didn't give af.
Why are they so rude, dismissive, incompetent and lacking any empathy at all? Miserable people. I hope the doctor's not like them!

Update: the doctor was great. Very professional and helpful.

I wish there was a way to give them a ZERO. Let me be very specific, Dr. Gallagher seemed super the office staff / surgery scheduling - Josephine HORRIABLE!!!. Either hire more people or hire the right people that will do their job. They were to contact me to schedule surgery and if I has not heard back in a week to 10 days I was to call her / email her.... FIRST of all, get in the 21st century and establish a patient portal where 90% of this can be resolved via messaging. No call from her so I reached out, got her voice mail, left a voice mail and sent an email with all details. I noticed that her voice mail introduction listed the doctors she scheduled surgery for and Dr. Gallagher was not mentioned. I called the office, inquired, and was told that they had lost the other scheduler and Josephine was handling the scheduling for all the doctors in the practice. Still no email or call from Josephine, followed up for the next 5 consecutive days leaving calls and emails. Then called the main office number the following week only to be told that Josephine was now on vacation for a week. Is there no one covering for her? should her voice mail not state she is on vacation and her email provide an out of office reply? A week later I call back and still get her voice mail. I wait a couple of days and call the front office and tell they my situation and that if someone does not schedule my surgery today I am going to another practice. I hold for several minutes and then Josephine comes on the line and schedules the date for my surgery saying I just got back off vacation and today is my first day back. I guess she was on vacation for all 3 weeks (not). Today 5/13 is 3 business days before my surgery and I still don't know what time to be there or if if should stop taking any of my OTC medications (ie. blood thinners). I had to ask where it is I even go for the surgery (address) Like I said I have received zero information on pre-op or post-op. You may have the best doctors and surgeons in the world but there is a level of professionalism, follow-up, and follow through that should extend through out the entire surgical process and communication with the patient is absolute KEY.

The office staff here are the absolute worst I have ever met. The new patient schedule lady is a miserable human being. She is rude, inconsiderate, and disrespectful. No one ever answers the phone and when they do they treat you like your an inconvenience. The worst, absolute worst. Flip Side - Dr. Herrera is great. Very kind man, super compassionate, great bed side manner.

Dr. De Jesus is an amazing surgeon!!! But getting in contact with them is impossible!!!
Still trying to get ostomy supplies for my friend for over 3 weeks. The supplier said they needed authorization from the doctor
Even they can't get a hold of the office. Obsurd!!! Frustrated!!! Also when you have an appointment you sit and wait for hours after scheduled time.

First I've call to make a schedule I try to call them over 100 time a day so surprise nobody answer but finally got them call back but it took 3days.
Second I have to do surgery on Monday
On last Tuesday I got a call and she helped me do a Schedule and she's very nice and she told me that I will get another call in next day to tell me what time and nobody call me
I try to call them on Thursday and they said tell will call me to tell what time I should arrive in 48 hour before my schedule
But!!! 48 hr will be on Saturday or Sunday which they closed the office!
I've been wait but still no call and I try to reach them again even on Sat someone call me back..give me a number told me to call them again on Monday(the day that I have to surgery )at 6 am And everybody knows how difficult it is to contact this office...I'm gonna cry 🥲. But Doctor are amazing from the first visit I had
