over a 4-week period I had several Venofer Iron infusions. My first experience at Health Central Cancer Institute was awful as I left with several unpleasant symptoms: all over body tingling, felt like ants crawling on my skin, body aches, chest pain, headache and fatigue. Then about 5 hours later developed a red rash on my chest that was itchy. I notified my my doctors office the next day and was advised at the next apt. I would given 5 pre-meds Benadryl, Tylenol, Solu-cortef, Pepcid and Zofran. This cocktail seemed to be amazing with very few symptoms at all. The facility is gorgeous, relaxing, and definitely patient centered. Thank you to my nurses Stephanie, Kat and Michelle who were all very kind and informative of everything they were doing.

The Cancer Institute facility is comfortable, clean, and modern. The front desk is always well staffed and they are helpful and friendly. I never have to wait long to be seen. The nurses are kind and efficient. I cannot speak for the other doctors, but my oncologist, Dr. Rostorfer, is excellent. He is very knowledgeable in his field and keeps up with applicable medical studies to provide research based advice and care. He is also personable and easy to speak with, and I feel that he has my best interest in mind.

First chemo treatment and was not sure how it would be. I was greeted warmly by Darlene when I stepped off the elevator. She set me up in the chair, explained the surroundings in full detail. So thorough! My cousin accompanied me and she as an RN was so impressed.
Met the nurse, Katie, who was warm and friendly. She answered all of my questions and provided all the information I could need. I was there 4 hours and I slept , read and watched television, I was incredibly comfortable. The key thing to me was they provided anti-nausea medication immediately and this made EVERYTHING better from the start. I was not nauseated at all after treatment nor today. I rest and will eat proper foods today. I am feeling really good because my care was so excellent.

Your business is only as good as the weakest link. Whoever was working as the female receptionist at the front desk today (Sep 29th, 2023) at 10am was absolutely dreadful. She was incredibly rude. She went out of her way to belittle patients and make them feel bad while doing whatever she could to emphasize her own power over them. She was completely unprofessional. This individual may have skills that may her valuable to the business, but a front facing customer experience position is not the role for them. I urge you to correct this behavior as soon as possible as it plays a lasting role in people’s experience with your business.

Natalia greeted me on the phone and I was hopeful she wasn't going to let me down...by calling me back to get me in Ocoee location on 8/6 otherwise if no opening book me for 8/19 at closest location to my house....I call at 458p to catch someone before they close and no answer...I'm actually still on hold for 33 min while I write this review. I'm so upset and let down by this.

Gorgeous facility, it always amazes me how nice these new places are on the inside. The front desk people always leave a little to be desired, they always seem miserable and like they don't want to be there,but they were nice enough. The doctor that I saw there was really amazing though, felt like she really listened to my concerns and addressed the problems I was having (Dr. Cooke). I definitely recommend this location and the servies they provide.

Our son fought a year-long battle with cancer, and we were very pleased with the level of care he received. Employees were friendly, especially Shayla Rivera, who demonstrated a tremendous amount of compassion with both patients and families alike; she deserves a lot of recognition for her kind and caring ways.

Another great cancer center I've been to! Love how nice the nurses are every time you come in for treatment! They always offer you a refreshing drink & something to snack on like chips or a cookie that are always so delicious 💚 Always look forward to going and getting my treatments done just to see those smiles & to talk to them!
