My father had a massive stroke and was transported to this hospital. In reality, there was nothing any medical professionals could do to save him. But the ICU nurses and doctors ran tests and monitored him tirelessly. They also performed countless small tasks to keep him as comfortable as possible while he was in a medically induced coma. They were all so kind to my large family as we gathered to visit the man we loved before he eventually passed away. I felt that Chris and Megan and the other nurses were careful to maintain my father's dignity. And I appreciated the candor of a neurosurgery physician's assistant named Jane. I was also grateful for the palliative care/hospice team. They had a plan in place to provide hospice services in the ICU so we didn't need to arrange a transfer. Thank you for caring for my father with such respect and dedication.

Avoid this ER at all cost! Wife was brought here due to paramedics thinking she was having a stroke. The nurses were too busy flirting with the paramedics to administer any aid to my wife. My wife was fine and transported back to our primary hospital for overnight observation. I usually give nurses the benefit of the doubt because of what they do, in general,. However, this was completely unacceptable behavior from both the nurses as well as the paramedics that seem to just be hanging out here.

I brought my dad for an emergency heart surgery. Is my first time at this place and it has been a good experience. I'm thankful to God for saving my dad's life and to Orange County Global Medical Center for providing the immediate care. The staff was attentive, caring, and respectful. At all times they showed that they care and I'm thankful for that!!

Date of service: MAY 2024. My advice, DO NOT GIVE BIRTH HERE! If you have a obgyn that only delivers to this hospital, get another obgyn. Everything with this hospital has gone wrong. From filling out the pre-registration papers so that I don't deal with it on the day of being admitted to the day of taking leave. On the day being admitted, I had to fill out the paperwork AGAIN because they couldn't find it on file and it took 45 mins-1 hour to be done with. The 1 star rating is for the one nurse in the labor & delivery room that is apparently from Florida that was flown to California due to short staff. The nurses had to convince the only anesthesiologist to give me the epidural. The anesthesiologist shared she worked a 15 hour shift and that I'm her last patient and she can't wait to go home. I got stabbed 3 times by her before getting right on my spine. I was her last patient before she was ready to clock out. Every stab was very painful. The recovery room had 1-2 nurses working the whole floor. After the delivery was done I've asked to remove the ivy from my arm because it was becoming painful. I had a bag of saline water leftover that I wanted connected to my ivy to stay hydrated since they refused to remove it. Might as well put it to use, right, even though it hurts. Well, the nurse refused to plug it in. It took 45 mins to get a glass of water, hospital food was nauseating that you will spend your own money to buy outdoor food. My husband had to go out of his way to buy diapers because the nurses couldn't figured out where they were. The nurses never came back to address that request. Left with a massive bruise to my arm where the ivy was. I could not bend my arm. It hurt to have my baby on the arm affected that it prevent me from lifting her up. When we were ready to be discharged and I signed the paperwork it took them 1 hour and 45 mins to be wheeled out on a wheelchair. Don't get me started with the billing department. Long story short with that and lesson learn, you will need to constantly call and stay on top of them to send it to you via mail along with an itemized bill. I promise you, you will not get either. It will go directly to collections without any notice. I look forward to the day to see this hospital close forever.

I gave birth to my son here just this past weekend. I just want to thank all the nurses in the labor & delivery (or maternity not sure what you call it) unit who helped me through my ~2-3 days there. They were all so kind and helpful when I had questions about taking care of myself and my baby. Special thank you to Britney and Sunny who helped me so much during my actual labor and were very sweet. Thank you to nurses Cassidy and Norma for the help during my post partum care. There were a few other nurses i can’t remember their names but everyone was great. Thank you. I would recommend this hospital

I spent 24 hours in Global when I was experiencing vertigo and extreme nausea. I arrived at 7pm and walked to an intake window where a friendly and helpful person guided me thu the process. Five minutes later my name was called by a nurse who took my vitals and promptly led me to the staging area for emergency treatment. I was immediately greeted by a friendly nurse who listened to me describe symptoms and then started an IV. Minutes later I was seen by an emergency room doctor, who listened patiently and gave me a shot to help calm the nausea. And so it went, everyone I met was knowledgeable, caring and helpful: from nurses and doctors to housekeeping.
My room was clean and comfortable and as I interacted with more people, I was struck by how dedicated and professional all the staff was. I would not hesitate to return if I had an emergency health situation.

I am very pleased with the service I received. The Doctor was very professional and pleasant. The RN kim v was absolutely great,a very caring nurse who made me feel very comfortable and took the time to insure I understood everything.the reason for three stars was my immediate intake.while going through the intake I became separated from my wallet keys and phone.shortly after I was handed my phone.30 minutes later I received my wallet and keys.
A gentleman came and made a detailed list of my property.at this time I realized I had less in my wallet.nonetheless I was in too much pain to care I let it go,things happen. On the day of my discharge I awoke to find a nurses aide digging through my personal belongings.oddly enough the same women who took my belongings upon arrival.she quickly turned and hurried away when confronted.I am not asking for the return of the money taken.the service I received was nothing short of perfect My review is only to inform you of a teammate who doesn't understand her position of trust and the importance it has on the entire staff.
I thank you,I feel better every day
