Leaving a loved one in the care of others is never easy, but from the moment my mother entered Orange City Nursing and Rehab, my worries began to melt away. I can wholeheartedly say that our experience there was exceptional, earning them a well-deserved five-star review.

From the cheerful and efficient office staff at the front desk to the incredibly dedicated nursing team, Orange City Nursing and Rehab provided a welcoming and supportive environment for my mother. The front office staff were always helpful and accommodating, answering my questions with patience and a genuine willingness to assist. They made navigating the administrative side of things a breeze, allowing me to focus solely on my mother's well-being.

But the true heart of Orange City Nursing and Rehab lies within its nursing staff. They are, simply put, the best. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction, from administering medication with precision to ensuring my mother was comfortable and well-cared for. They took the time to truly get to know her, understanding her needs, and treating her with the utmost respect and dignity.

Beyond the technical aspects of care, the nursing staff offered something even more precious: genuine compassion. They listened attentively to my mother's stories, offered words of encouragement, and provided a warm, reassuring presence. It was clear that they weren't just doing a job; they truly cared about her as an individual.

My mother, who can be quite particular, truly loved the entire staff at Orange City Nursing and Rehab. This speaks volumes about the positive and supportive atmosphere they cultivate. Knowing she was in such capable and caring hands allowed me to rest easy, knowing she was receiving the best possible care.

This place truly helped my husband. From the time you enter the front door the young ladies at the front were great! The nurses, the CNA’s, the Angels, their rehab crew was spot on, their OT crew the same. They were all amazing. It was clean, lots of activities, ice cream socials, pet therapy, church & more. There are to many names to mention but they know who they are. I fear I would leave someone out if I start naming people. If you want your loved one treated right this is a great place to take them. Gwynne (Rm152) & Tricia Maurer will be forever thankful for his stay from 1/4-3/2/2024. Spencer too 🙏🏻😘

The CNA's, Nurses and Doctors were awesome this past Saturday. I was in the dining room with my Mom during a code blue. Everyone came running and helped the resident. Truly awesome teamwork!!! So blessed to have awesome workers that care for the residents. Thank you all for everything and for caring for my Mom.

I’m so impressed with the professionalism of the staff. I have overcome some obstacles . Therapy department has given me tools that have never been offered to me before my admission here. Ed- the physical therapist has been instrumental in my success. Higher than I have achieved before. Occupational therapy has strengthened my upper extremities. The activities department has multiple activities for everyone, they make sure residents have weekend and evening activities and they are fantastic! I love their pet therapy program!

Mom has only been there two days, but after a very scary and sad experience elsewhere, she seems to be coming around and acclimating well. Within the last year my mother was there two times as a rehab patient and remained eight months as a long term care resident until her death. My thanks goes out to the helpful staff among who stood out were: the CNAs Crystal and Matthew. I could tell when either one was assigned to mom because the bed was just changed and or mom would be up in the wheelchair 😊 Also there were Charlotte, Bri, Shakira, Donna, Rosie and nurses Sage and Alex among others. Overall it was a good experience. These situations were a loved one find themselves in is hardly ever an ideal one. For what it’s worth, I’m glad mom was there. For those contemplating long term care, these decisions aren’t easy. Remember to advocate for your loved one.

I have met the kindest staff I have ever experienced.It doesn’t matter what department comes in my room, they always ask, ‘ are you ok? ‘Is there something you need?’ I’m happy to get it for you. If I could give this facility 10 Stars, I would!
