First off, Dr. Cornelia Holmes is a great doctor. This review does not pertain to her. The lack of organization, communication and bedside manner of the front office staff is far below par. I have been trying to refill a blood pressure medication for 2 months, to no avail. There is NO REASON why this office staff can’t approve this refill! My boyfriend, the patient, was seen in their office in the last 4 months. This is not a narcotic. It is however, essential to managing my boyfriend’s blood pressure. Let this be a public notification to these “less than busy dummies” in the front office… if anything medically happens to my boyfriend, blood pressure related, your negligence will be challenged in a court of law. I suggest you get it together and fix this problem immediately. You have been warned. Furthermore, I couldn’t even get a live person to speak with , voicemail is full, on Monday 7/1/2024 at 4:15pm. The office doesn’t close until 5:00pm. Who the heck manages this medical practice? Awful!

I Waited3 Hrs with 2 people in the lobby. walk in waited 1hr &When called they check your weight, temp&blood pressure. They put you in another room to wait again for the doctor for an additional 1 hour&30 mins. They either need more physicians or quicker staff. This is ridiculous. Update: they only have 1 doctor for urgent care.

Looking for a place to be seen and hoping to find a place of comfort while feeling very ill, I found myself at Vista Medical Group. Just moving to the area I was hoping to make this place my new primary care facility. Immediately after walking in, the front staff member treated me like a child with the worst condescending attitude one could have. She was extremely mean and rude. I already did not feel good and I almost left. I stayed because I was very sick and needed to be seen. I understand that having low income state assisted insurance means having less access to quality care but as an educated individual I recognize what a disgrace this is for all who take part in feeling superior towards others considered low income. I did let her know I wasn’t happy with how she spoke to me. Ignorance continues to be at the front of low income health care clinics. It’s a definite never coming back for me.

I got there at 9am. There were 2 other people in the lobby before me. I didn't see a Dr until 12. Before that I had asked how much longer. I still waited another 30-40 min . Still nothing until I was about to leave. I finally saw the Dr. Something needs to be done as far as office management. I see a lot of complaints regarding wait time and seems like nothing has been done to improve the flow of the office. It took 3 hrs for me to talk to a Dr for 5 min or less. The Doctor was very nice by the way but improvements should be made

At times hard to get a hold of to talk to someone during work hours, will keep you on hold for 20 minutes, will now fax/email paperwork on time. It might take them 3-4 tries for only you have to do it then.

The front reception, nurse and doctor was great. The overall time in and out was quick. The only issue I had was they administered an auditory exam in a room that was not sound proof. This made it extremely difficult to hear due to another nurse talking outside the room, a baby crying outside the room and a mother speaking outside the room. Resulting in inaccurate results. If you are going to administer a test that requires you to hear the faintest of sounds it should be in a sound proof environment or at a minimum an area that removes all distractions and loud noises like what is done at other facilities. This prevents unnecessary follow up visits that prove nothing is wrong with your hearing and in fact it was just the environment you were placed in

I injured my left shoulder, the pain spread across my shoulder, upper arm, and lower arm down to my fingers. The front desk staff signed me in, I told them the pain was intense, and asked them how long did I have to wait.
They told me there was nobody ahead of me and I would be seen within a couple of minutes. I had to wait for forty five minutes or longer. I was sobbing by then.
The urgent care staff was competent though. When I left, the staff didn’t even acknowledge my departure, because I wear a scarf
( Muslim), but they were exceptionally courteous to two other young men.
In short, they’re rude and unprofessional. When I called the next day and told them my pain worsened, and I requested for the doctor to call me back, nobody responded.
A human is just a number at this clinic, with no regard for compassion or care.
I am going to transfer my medical insurance elsewhere.
