I want to thank Anita Comstock and Dr. Lorena Cancino for getting me to a better place from where I was when I first walked through their doors. After a previously horrible counseling experience they have renewed my faith in their professions.

After many years of being very unhappy I am not only much better now, but I continue to get even better. They empowered me with information and tools that will be of help to me for the rest of my life. I will not hesitate to see a counselor or psychiatrist the next time I feel I could use some extra help. Thank you both, very, very much. It is comfortable being me again.

If I could do a negative star I would. I had an appointment and they cancelled the morning of. Rescheduled me for another 2 weeks. I show up to my appointment 8 mins late and they did not want to see me. They clearly do not care about their patients well being. I begged to be seen even if it was a shorter time but they only agreed to reschedule me. Of course I am NOT stepping a foot there. I am not calling or emailing any manager as they are aware with all the “alike” reviews on here. It’s very unfortunate that a place that should be helping patients is not doing so. STEP IT UP, please think about the patients that schedule there and remember the reasons why they are going there.

Horrible experience! My 13 yr old with depression is lucky to get 2 half hour consultations a month, every other month! June was her month to get two consults with Anita and both were canceled. Their excuse was they were short on staff, well then don’t take new patients in, if you don’t have the resources to provide them with good, quality care! What a waste of time your clinic has been. She could have already built a rapport with another counselor had we known how horrible your services were.

Not only is the lady at the front desk incredibly rude and dismissive but you’re also lucky to get an appointment any sooner than a month out! If you do FINALLY get in for an appointment good luck being seen because if you’re late at all, I’m talking less than 15 minutes you have to reschedule. This place basically cut me off of my medication cold turkey without warning (very dangerous for physical and mental health) and has since been denying me it for close to 2 months. I go to a DENTIST that is more concerned with getting me seen than this place is.

The receptionist who answers the phone, has been incredibly rude to me on 3 occassions, but this last time was really the cherry on top. I am hard of hearing and i called to set up an appointment and she asked me about my date of birth, but since i am hard of hearing, i couldn't understand her, and i asked her politely, "I'm sorry what was that? I'm a little deaf" and she just raised her voice and repeated "your date of birth. What's your date of birth?" I understand she is not a doctor and she could care less about my issues, like her job is just to make me an appointment, but they have got to stop talking to people like that. This is no way of speaking to someone who is just seeking help for their mental health, if anything, it could drive someone really mentally ill or vulnerable over the edge. Be better.
