I scheduled an appointment 3months prior to April 9th 2025. I checked in, only to be told the Office Manager took it upon Herself to Cancel my appointment. Apparently new rule of not confirmed appointment, Patients scheduled appointment will be cancelled. I was also told Patients who confirm appointment are still No Shows. It might be wise to keep Patients scheduled appointments. If a no show then charge a Fee, like other Doctor offices. Management needs a new refiguration on knowledgeable Office Manager.

I had 2 appointments cancelled in error. It is very frustrating , when it takes months to get into an appointment, to show up at their office only to be told that it was cancelled by me. I know I did not cancel appointments, when I was anxious to get my results from my colonoscopy. I had to reschedule the follow-up appointment again. My colonoscopy was performed March 2024. My follow-up was scheduled for August 2024. That is 5 months later to get my results from colonoscopy that I knew I had issues. After being told in August that my appointment had been cancelled, I was scheduled for the next available appointment, which was March 2, 2025. I arrive for my appointment and AGAIN I’m told it has been cancelled. I tried to explain that this was the second time in a row that my follow-up appointments had been cancelled and not by me. The front desk person was rude and told me I need to speak to the office manager. It has now been one year since my colonoscopy and still no results. The office manager was wonderful. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and got the issue taken care of. Three days later I had my follow-up appointment and, unfortunately, am now scheduled for another colonoscopy due to my issues. Fingers crossed this process goes smoothly.

Dr. Kashyap tried repeatedly to push me into going in for surgery to resolve my illness. I tried to make it clear that I do NOT want surgery. He didn't listen. He also ignored me when I said that I wasn't able to exercise due to a cracked rib. I would not recommend Yuma Gastro to anyone nor will I return to this office. I am deeply displeased and frustrated by this incident.

I have been trying to get an appointment here for over a year now. Two doctors that I was scheduled for both quit, and now that my appointment was supposed to be in two days I get a call saying the doctor I was scheduled with will be out that day. I just need my maintenance medication but they won’t give it to me without an appointment. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
