Customer Service and clarity around billing is inconsistent at best. A claim which was closed and reopened by One Medical and then was billed over a year after service, took over a month and a half to get answers too. Doctors are great but support staff such as Karen should be removed from any customer-facing positions. She could not even do the basics like opening an attachment which shows the concern. If One Medical doesn't screw anything up which requires you to advocate for yourself they are amazing, but the moment you call them out on their mistakes it is like pulling teeth for answers.

I made an appt for 8am and got there by 8:13. Apologized for being late and was told by the receptionist (a pretty rude guy) that my appointment might be short since I was late. He made no eye contact and spoke over me a couple of times.

I waited until 8:30am only to be told by the other receptionist that the doctor didn't know I was waiting and that they can't take my appointment. When you can be so stern about delays, you better be on time.

I wish I had read the other reviews before making an appointment. And I'm definitely not renewing my One Medical membership. What's the point when the service is worse after paying a yearly membership fee. I'm better off at any other clinic and hospital

Update: after a few conversations with the team, I've cancelled my membership.

Dr. Bliss Temple is a skilled clinician who is both sensitive to patient concerns and assertive in her creation of a care plan. Her staff likewise is thoughtful and attentive.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
1. The front desk attendant was completely indifferent, maintaining a poker face the entire time. When I handed over my ID, he didn't even bother to look at it and curtly said, "I just need a phone number," without offering any further explanation.

2. The employees were extremely undertrained and unprofessional. The lab technician couldn't even draw blood properly, making multiple failed attempts by poking both of my arms.

3. I specifically requested the smallest needle since I've been doing lab test at other one medical locations before. The lab technician insisted that the needle he was using was definitely the smallest size. After he failed to draw blood, I asked again, and he suddenly admitted, "Oh, actually, we do have a smaller size."

4. Both my arms were bruised for weeks

I love the fact that I could get my first vaccination at one location, then just two blocks away for my second. Very convenient for busy people, who seek friendly and knowledgeable professional care.

Edit: don't believe the response they have given me. I've talked to support they've given me the run around. This business has very shady practices.

Be careful. They landed me with a surprise $600 Bill for a simple procedure on top of the 500+ they billed for the appointment itself. They exist to milk you and your insurance for as much as possible and it's very hard to get a hold of anyone to explain it all (support is centralized and they will never connect you to the local office). Most of the clinicians aren't even real doctors. Why does it cost $1000+ to see a fake doctor/ nurse practitioner for half an hour. Insane.
