My experience at One Medical was a wonderful experience. The office presented very clean, the staff were professional, knowledgeable and personable. It was my first visit and I was quite impressed with the expediency, yet thorough assessment by the Nurse Practitioner. When she finished, I had blood withdrawn by the phlebotomy technician, who had a gentle hand. I recommend this center, it is in a beautiful building and is conveniently accessible by public transit. This was one of the best doctor visits I’ve ever had. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who efficiently checked me in, my wait time was only due to the fact that I arrived early, and at the time of my appointment, the NP came out and greeted me and walked me back to the exam room. The NP was kind, thorough, and took time to listen. They have a lab onsite, so you do not need to make an appointment elsewhere. Overall, this was such an incredible experience. I am grateful for the care I received at One medical at Four Embarcadero in SF.

I had an disappointing experience with this primary care practice. My visit lasted about 10 minutes, during which the nurse practitioner simply checked my skin—no other procedures or tests were performed. Despite the minimal service, I was billed a $550, and even though my insurance negotiated it down to $390, I still had to pay that excessive amount for such a brief and basic appointment.
