I have a similar experience with Dr Cardona. Went in because I had injured my knee. He never even commented on that body part. Instead he just commented on my back pain and included in his report test results as "normal" for tests he never performed! Kaiser, don't even bother with your "sorry you had a bad experience." I reported this all in a written survey and reported the discrepancy and never heard from anyone to discuss my issue. That's really the reason I'm posting the review. After 1 year, I have never heard from anyone with regard to my feedback, so here it is for everyone. Clearly others have had similar issues given the reviews. You know not to go here when Comp approves you to see a different (2nd) doctor because this doctor didn't address the specified injured body part.

I'm surprised at all the negative reviews, I'm not sure if it has to do with the employer but everytime that i've gone, I have recieved great service from the receptionist , physical therapist and the doctor, i've got the care i needed and have had no issues. Dr. Penisuki and Dr. Li have been great my time going to them.

Doctor cardona he is very unprofessional My wife was injured at work. She hurt her foot and she was having severe problems. Shooting pains numbness, running up-and-down her leg weakness of her leg and she would wake up crying in the middle of the night and the doctor tells her, yes, these are all the symptoms of nerve damage. But pre-existing nerve damage, my wife never had a condition of any of this sort before the foot accident, and this guy went ahead on his own and Sid. Yeah, he was going to cancel the workman's comp. He did not send a referral to another specialist to see if the damage was pre. Existing, my wife does not have any pre. Existing conditions, no high blood pressure, no diabetes. There's nothing there. This guy is horrible.

Dr do not know the law. Cordona literally stated pain made worse by work and then proceeded to state it was not work related. Kaiser is the worst.

Very poor medical service especially that doctor Helen Weinrit. I will complain about her practice for she only know is to bring me back to work even though I have a 2 herniated disc. That why my lawyer is recommending on transferring to a different medical center. Good work for she doesn’t know how to read a MRI report. This what Kaiser is can offer.

Family member was seen by a Dr. Li. She decided the obvious work related injury was not work related and tried to claim the injury was due to a completely different illness. Displayed signs of a young and inexperienced doctor.. coincidentally enough she was hired by Kaiser South Sacramento this August. Extremely disappointed, will definitely have family seek help some where else. Unless Kaiser doctors are getting some big cuts for tossing out workers comp cases, I have no idea how some one can be so clueless and heartless towards a human beings disposition and pain. Doctors should treat and talk to patients as if they were their own family not like they’re a nuisance. If you have an option of choosing a different location, please do.
