I cannot say enough good things about nurse Jessica K and Hope! Jessica has been seeing me since I was a patient at HCA and at this point I'm happy to call her a friend. In the couple weeks I've been going 3 of my 6 wounds have healed and the other 3 are making amazing progress. They always do their best to make me comfortable and without pain. While the appointments aren't always fun, these ladies keep me in good spirits and we are never without a laugh. I'm so very thankful for them FINALLY getting my wounds taken care of when the Drs at the hospital couldn't. Id recommend them to anyone.

I'm thoroughly impressed and thankful for the treatment I have received from this facility. Appointments are made and kept. The coordinated efforts of the team works like a well oiled machine. My questions were answered and my concerns were addressed immediately and efficiently. It's obvious, too, that these folks enjoy working together.

If you or a loved one is unfortunate enough to have a wound that needs professional care this is the place to go with confidence. I was continually stunned by how quickly my wound had healed each week. It's nearly completely healed. I'm going to miss this team so much I'll have to stop and say hello every now and then.

I have been to the wound center for 5 weeks with no improvement. Their treatments are antiquated. If you have no choice but to go here steer clear of Lauren the NP. She is a poor practitioner at best. She is unsure of herself and does not exude confidence. She does not listen to your concerns. Wound care is way above her skill level.

These little nurses that work there need to take a class in ethics. It’s unethical to speak poorly of other nurses. Just because they don’t work for your facility doesn’t mean you know more than they do. These nurses spoke poorly to my patient I’ve been seeing for several months .. regarding a wound vac I’ve been a nurse BSN for over 12 years. I know exactly how to apply a wound vac and I know you don’t apply black foam to tunneling wound, especially when has previously broke off and your visualization is obscured which could causes remnants of the foam to left in the patient. Wound vac 101. Regardless, their efforts to discredit other nurses will always prove without merit especially when the patient knows the nurses credentials.

Great technicians. Not impressed with doctor's knowledge or mannerism. Hyperbaric Chamber is a relaxed environment. Down side of using Chamber is discomfort in ears ...popping, etc....for first 6 minutes. Also , after 20 or so sessions in the Hyperbaric Chamber at 2 hours per session vision begins to be effected. At 30 + sessions vision becomes so distorted that it's impossible to drive safely. Using prescription lens do not help with eyesight. Quite distressing as vision gets worse and worse. Doctor's will tell you that 3 weeks after completion of sessions in Chamber eyesight will go back to normal. I certainly hope so! Haven't completed sessions yet but will share my experience upon completion.

Update: Got a call from my PCP with the results at 5pm today. The PCP said that the facility were the MRI was done has to release the results to me. Maybe if this wound care center would have told me that, there'd be no review here from me. Still not using them again, will add a star because the doctor was good, but not the corporation.

Will never use an any Ocala Health office again. The wound and Hyperbaric Center are more or less refusing to give me my results from an MRI unless I schedule and pay for doctors appointment. My results from a slew of tests are accessible through an Ocala Health patient portal, and W&H Center won't even post there. I guess FOIA of personal test results are moot to their staff unless a fee is paid. Already contacted my insurance company to report this. Personally I suggest using a private practice doctor, not a doctor from a corporate practice.

My mom had an appointment at 1:15. They called her back and we waited and answered a bunch of weird questions for almost an hour. Doctor never came. Finally at 2:45 we couldn't stay any longer because she had another appointment at 3:30 so we stormed out without seeing a doctor.Going to find a different place because this was a joke.
