Absolutely, horrible experience. I've been
coming here for a little over half a
month. The staff absolutely phenomenal.
Have no complaints they go above and
beyond to help, but Dr Mirza, is
absolutely disrespectful and complete
garbage. How are you gonna tell a
patient? Just to live with it, deal with the
pain. Did not refer me to no one else.Just
basically told me live with it.

I see a lot of complaints about wait times, and yes I did have to wait a bit for my appointment. What a lot of these reviews wont tell you is the care he was amazing. I saw NP Toni, and she was absolutely amazing. She let me be heard, listened to all my symptoms, didn't downplay anything, shes very intelligent aswell.
I highly recommend this place and anything with chronic illness and suffering will tell you, id rather wait for a good competent healthcare provider who cares about me and will fight for me than a be seen by a doctor quick who doesnt care about me and sends me out the door with nothing.

Dr. Mirza is who I see and he is a very caring Dr. The last time I reviewed this office I gave no less than 5 stars but in the past few years that has definitely changed. The office staff has a lot to be desired, and you use the patient portal for questions but don't expect an answer to them all, I asked for a month for a RX that I was told several times was sent in, I finally got it with a printed copy. Always make sure you get copies of orders, or prescriptions because it's not a guarantee it will get where it supposed to go. I have home health and my nurse has called the office several times to ask questions but she has to leave a voicemail every time and it's not guaranteed she will get a return call.
Hate to say it but that office needs people who know what they are doing. Maybe some RNs would be nice

The staff has always been super amazing, from the receptionists to the infusion center to Dr. Mirza himself. These doctors are so wonderful and caring that you will spend some time waiting for them because they make sure they listen to every single symptom you have. They have always been very validating and will take the time to go over all of your symptoms. It can be a bit hard to get ahold of them over the phone so the Spruce app has made it so much easier for myself and the staff. They responded very promptly and efficiently. The Spruce app has been a great solution to that. If I am every having a really bad day and need to see them the same day, they can normally fit me in, which I appreciate immensely! It's saved me from going to the ER a few times.
I originally went to Dr. Mirza a year and a half ago for Lyme Disease. In the process, I have developed new symptoms that suggest Endometriosis and gallstones. He was the one to find the gallstones and has encouraged me to seek treatment for Endometriosis. I've had false diagnoses in the past from other doctors, but Dr. Mirza has always had my best interest in mind. He's extremely knowledgeable and will go to the end's of the Earth for his patients! It's not everyday you find a doctor like this!
I am a very young patient and I thoroughly appreciate Dr. Mirza taking my symptoms seriously. I have had several other doctors dismiss me by saying it's depression, anxiety, all in my head, etc. Dr. Mirza has never brushed me off or turned my concerns away. He's always been ready to tackle my symptoms and he's very prompt to have bloodwork, imaging, etc done to help get a better idea as to what's causing the issues. Most doctors just want to treat the symptoms and not find the root cause. Dr. Mirza has always gone way above my expectations and I can tell I'm in the best care possible. Wholeheartedly, I trust this doctor with my life. Thank you all, for all that you do. Your hard, honest work has not gone unnoticed!

It cost me 100.00 co-pay for a prescription to have my liver tested to make sure it was healthy enough to undergo a series of meds that could cause a lot of damage to, or destroy my liver in an attempt to rid me of parasites the doctor told me he had no way of confirming the exsistance of. He refused to even give me a physical exam in an effort to search for parasites. What happened with "first do no harm"? They should have refunded my money. Im still in search of a doctor who is unafraid of touching the patient.

If you enjoy being a patient of a doctor who can't keep appointment times and lives like a hoarder, along with a potentially hazardous, infectious cockroach infestation, then this is probably the place for you.

However, if after reading this, you still decide to be seen here, make sure the attending physician washes his hands thoroughly and gloves up. Because chances are they, along with himself generally speaking are probably covered in Roach excrement and eggs. HIS OWN HOME IS LITERALLY INFESTED!

The doctors and staff at Ocala Infectious Disease and Wound Center are wonderful. They were able to schedule me to see a doctor quickly and I was soon on a treatment plan (it didn't take weeks to be seen). I had no issues with billing as they worked with my insurance and when I did have a question about my medical care, I was able to reach them and get answers to my questions. Their office is modern, clean, and full of natural light which I appreciate. I highly recommend Ocala Infectious Disease and Wound Center.
