The Oakleaf KinderCare is a great place for my son. Trust me I am very picky when it comes to my kids. As an educator myself I love the principals they set in place and the curriculum that they teach. This school provides school readiness as well as some enrichment activities such as Amazing Athletes which my son can now start and dances classes every week. As soon as we walk in my son and I are greeted with the warmest of welcomes which set the tone for the day ahead. The Staff is amazing the Director Mrs. Brittani and Assistant Director Mrs. Joceline are incredible and always have an answer to any and all questions that I have (which is a lot). The Teachers (Mrs. Skyler and Ms. Dasia) in the Discovery Preschool 1 class are awesome. I was afraid that my son was becoming antisocial due to me being a stay- at- home- mom for two years but they quickly got him out of his shell and now he is playing with the others children. He started to be more inquisitive and using more echolalia to understand and say more words. He is Thriving and that is all I want for my little one. There are photos daily of the activities that he is engaged in as well as descriptions of what he has eaten throughout the day and his potty brakes, this put my mind as well as my husbands mind at ease. I love that they make it the upmost priority to not only keep my child safe but every child in their care safe as well. Knowing that my child is taken care of makes me feel comfortable to write this review and I would recommend Oakleaf KinderCare to anyone who asks. Thank you for making my and my sons experience a most exceptional one!

We enrolled in January 2025 after meeting Ms. Brittani when she was filling in at another KinderCare location. She is a consummate professional, and both she and Ms. Joceline are deeply committed to the children they care for. I am continually impressed with what my son learns in Discovery Preschool and I hope we’re able to stay with this location for a long time. We recommend this location wholeheartedly!

My son attended kindercare for a few months before I decided to withdraw him. At first glance, the daycare seems great—it’s clean, well-maintained, and the classrooms are spacious. However, during our time there, several concerning incidents occurred.

One major issue was my son frequently getting injured. Although he only attended three days a week, it seemed like he always came home with some new injury. When I brought this up to the teachers, they often couldn’t explain what had happened. For example, one time they mentioned he ran into a bookcase but offered no further details.

Another issue was the food. While it’s nice that the daycare provides meals and snacks, my son didn’t care for the food and would essentially go hungry throughout the day. When I tried to bring milk and snacks for him, the director strongly objected. I understand the nut-free policy, but there were no alternative solutions offered. Even for something as simple as milk, I was asked to provide a doctor’s note, which felt excessive.

Overall, the daycare is okay, but it didn’t meet my expectations. When I enroll my child in a school, I expect him to be safe, well-fed, and properly cared for, and unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience here.

My daughter has been attending Oakleaf KinderCare for a year and a half. She has made the transition through two programs so far and will be moving up again next month when she turns 3. During her time here, she has absolutely thrived! She learns so many things daily and the teachers really do care about her. She has several friends in her class that have been with her since she started and I’ve loved watching them all grow up together. The center is very community-oriented with lots of involved parents whenever activities are hosted. The newest director, Ms. Brittani, is local to the Oakleaf community too and even has her own children enrolled, showing how much she cares about this center. We are expecting our second baby next year and have already enrolled her as I can’t imagine sending my children somewhere else!

GREAT school! was able to tour the school the other day to look for care for my son. spoke to some morning shift and afternoon shift teachers who were all very helpful in answering my questions and very welcoming to the idea of a new student starting so soon! the director, danielle, is also wonderful !! she gave me the tour herself and allowed me to enter each room to see how the children are cared for and how the teachers handle each class. the classrooms are all very clean, well organized, have centers and toy areas labeled for children’s reference , and all the children seem to be well adapted to their class schedules, knowing what to expect next (which is huge for my little one). from the time i spent there, the teachers have a great handle on their classes as the class sizes are perfectly in ratio with multiple assistants in each room as needed. 10/10 recommend !! can’t wait to see what the future holds there for my little one!

GROSS NEGLIGENCE!!!!!
Do not waste your time. The teacher turn over is high. 3 directors in a year and a half. The last one is the worse one. The toddler class is ā€œtoddlers gone wild.ā€ Those kids bite, hit, kick each other and the teachers. What do they do for discipline ….. nothing. ā€œRedirectionā€. My child has come home with bites and scratches and no incident report. When asked about it at pick up they state they don’t know. There’s no cameras to review these things. My child has picked up so many bad behaviors here including bitting. When I asked them to put him ā€œcool down cornerā€ they won’t. Toddlers need structure not just running around with an overwhelmed teacher and management sitting in the office figuring out their job. Danielle, the director of the month is absolutely terrible with communication. Her reasoning is ā€œchange happens over timeā€but can’t give an actual plan. Don’t waste your time. You will be disappointed. Don’t stick it out thinking it’ll get better because it won’t.

Great caring teachers and administrative staff, very well maintained facility, and just an overall positive environment for learning. Oakleaf KinderCare really understands the military family. This is our 3rd state in the last 3 years, and it has not been easy for our son to adapt to new places. They have been very supportive of his growth and development, and went out their way to make sure he feels at home. Thank you KinderCare!

I want to say the center is clean, the atmosphere is welcoming. They send out monthly calendars as well as weekly learning news letters. They learn and are taught something new daily, curriculum is fast but good to keep up with. The staff is attentive and informing they also do daily photos and progress updates if necessary, thank you KinderCare for loving and teaching my VPK student. This year was perfect for her. 🩷
