In short, friendly staff but Dr. Verma is the worst doctor ive seen.

Reason for my review:
He saw my spouse today. Keep in mind a slow office with only 1 other customer and still waited 2 hours after the scheduled appointment. The appointment when we did see Dr.Verma was less than 5 minutes.

From the moment he walked in to the moment he left, he seemed uncaring and rushed to leave. With clear breathing issues he simply stated “everything fine“ and attempted to leave when we stopped him by asking about details we researched ourselves. From that he stated “yea your report showed some concerns, i dont know what they are but your fine so nothing to worry about” and left. Naturally that comment brings questions that again he did not know to care to answer.

As we walked out we watched him speed off in his porche.

In the end, we have now scheduled another appointment in another city to talk to Dr who cares.

My mother had the unfortunate luck to be seen by Dr Verma Dinesh who was referred to us after an ER visit where my mother was having trouble breathing. The ER doctor suspected radiation induced pulmonary fibrosis and suggested we see a pulmonologist pronto.

My mother is over weight a recent 60 pound weight loss would indicate she is aware and striving to better herself.

Dr Verma Dinesh was more concerned with her weight than her current inability to breathe and sleep because of her symptoms. He argued that with weightloss she could be taken off of antidepressants and lower anti seizure medications.

While I suspect he is an educated pulmonologist he is not a neurologist or a psychologist or a oncologist which is who prescribed her medications.

I will continue to support my mother on her weightloss journey. But weightloss does not cure seizures, cancer, or depression from sexual trauma. As a doctor you should never let your personal prejudices effect a patients treatment. Shame on you! So disappointed in this doctor and the practice supporting fat shaming and promising miracles from weightloss.
