I called today because I had my surgery there in 2017 and one of my silicone implants ruptured. I called to get information on the implants I had.
I asked the woman who answered the phone if they still had my information and she said “I’m not sure, no” she didn’t even bother to find out and was ready to hang up on me. She also told me “Well the surgeon who did your surgery is no longer practicing so I don’t know”. So I asked her how long do they keep records cause I believe they’re supposed to have it.
She puts me on hold and comes back with my information!!!!
This facility really needs to train their staff on customer service and support.

Dr. Emily Hartman performed my surgery. I had a lipoma removed on the anterior side of my body on the shoulder/chest area. She did an amazing job! The scar is small and has been healing well- it was been 2 months since my surgery. She is such a genuinely kind and caring person. She always gives me hugs which is so sweet of her. She let me text her after my surgery in case I had any questions and boy did I have a lot (I'm a worry wart). She replied quickly every time and answered my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Hartman.

I am 35 and was going through a lot of hard emotional decisions when I was looking for a plastic surgeon to get a double mastectomy.
When I met The staff and nurses at north state I was treated so well and so pleased. After my first appointment meeting Dr. Hartmann I was so comforted and felt like she was very invested in me and my journey. Fast forward now through two surgeries and many many office visits and I am beyond thankful I chose her as my doctor. She is so professional and her knowledge, compassion, confidence and humility exceeds any doctor I have ever met or could of ever dreamed of. I would choose her as my doctor a million times over if I had to make that choice again.

The front office staff are so friendly and welcoming, the waiting area is comfortable and beautiful! They have water and tea and coffee. The support staff are considerate and get to know you - so it all feels very personal. My surgeon has been very attentive and was thorough in explaining options. I'm quite happy to have had this group on my Cancer Fighting Team.

Dr. Hartmann is very kind and friendly and after having a very bad experience with the office staff not following through (for 6 weeks I tried to schedule my surgery)I finally got my surgery completed. Dr. Hartmann went above and beyond to make it happen before the end of the year. A big thank you to Raquel for being my contact person and making sure all was handled. The day of surgery went smoothly. Glad to be on the road to recovery.

Dr. Emily Hartman does phenomenal work! She helped save my life after an extreme surgery to remove necrotizing fasciitis from my chest!

In late October I had a work-related injury that resulted in a partial amputation of my left thumb. Because my bone was exposed, reconstructive surgery was needed in order to minimize infection and to save what I had left of my thumb. Dr. Kevin Myers determined that a Moberg advancement flap was the best option to maintain full range of motion and the most thumb length possible. My overall experience here was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was very accommodating and kind and worked in a very professional matter. They were always there to answer questions when I had them. My surgery went very well, and recovery was easy. A little over two months later, I now have a fully functioning thumb with full feeling and full range of motion! I am totally impressed with the work that the healthcare staff did! Although I hope to never need any reconstructive surgery again, I would not hesitate coming back here if I needed to for any issue. 100% would recommend to friends or family.

I saw some of the bad reviews for Northstate Plastic Surgery and debated whether I should go to my appointment. Although it was a gut feeling it proved true. I wasn’t going to say anything but to prevent others from receiving horrible treatment, I will.
For the most part her ratings look great, educational background looks good, and as a mother seems like someone who understands. However, Dr. Emily C. Hartmann is extremely unprofessional, and although looks/ acts caring, was unfortunately not. I went to my appointment after scheduling it months in advance and even confirmed the day of, but as soon as I arrived they sent someone to tell me she no longer does the procedure. (That’s on the official website and something she told me herself is what “she loves to do”) What kind of doctor makes someone travel far and tells them that they no longer do a procedure without even an explanation?! I would have been content to see the doctor at least so she could tell me to my face, but when she didn’t I realized how cold and truly unprofessional she is. I am glad I got away while I still could, please save yourself the hassle of dealing with unprofessional surgeons and look elsewhere.
