My grandma has been a resident for few months and our family has been very pleased with the care they've received.
Sarah from social services has been incredibly professional. always take the time to answer my questions and address any concerns I have. I've noticed how patients kind they are with all residents, even during the day when visiting
The CNAs are incredibly patient and happy with their jobs the building is spotless and the lady at the front desk always greets us with a smile

This is by far the best nursing and rehab center I’ve ever visited! As someone who frequents multiple nursing homes every week in my profession, I can confidently say this facility stands out above the rest. Not only is it impeccably clean, but the staff is incredibly happy, helpful, and always professional. Their manners and dedication shine through in the exceptional care they provide to patients. Everything is well-organized, and the attention to detail is unmatched. Highly recommend!

This place is an absolute joke. The food is definitely the worst ever, the staff doesn’t care one bit for the patients and the place smells like urine. They don’t care if a patient needs to be isolated due to a infection they would rather lie to the patient and say the family suggested that they move rooms rather than saying they want to charge you for a single room. My father was there and when I visited it was an experience I will never forget. I barely would go after going the first time and the nurses telling me negative things about him without even asking how I was related or knew the patient. That is HIPPA violation to the max. When they had a care meeting for him they gave him a dirty look when he told things that they didn’t want shared with higher ups. They made everyday miserable for him and I wish that they would realize these patients didn’t choose to be there. If they are not wanting to care for patients change professions. The social worker clearly has no idea how to communicate to family either. When I had asked to speak with the head nurse she hid and avoided answering her phone. I hope the lady that was screaming out for the nurse to not leave because she needed help realizes she was crying out for help but no the nurse rather go socialize in the hallway. This place doesn’t care as they don’t think families want their loved ones but we do just the patients were ordered to go into a short term facility I would have rather anyone there be left in the hospital at least they would have been cared for rather than treated like they were incompetent individuals.

DO NOT SEND FAMILY HERE. HEED THIS WARNING! THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE— sent my mom here for short term stay and physical therapy. First things first the food was very terrible. The food was not very appetizing and they did not give my mother a menu for options so she was stuck with whatever they delivered her. They didn’t ask for a diet restrictions or anything. The on-site doctor only came by once after we had to have a discussion with them about treatment in the facility. Pretty sure all the nurses are ready to quit and don’t really care about any of the patients. We found roaches in my mother‘s room and not small German ones, big flying ones. When they Discharge my mom the staff just wheeled her to the front left her at the front door and did not assist her to the car or anything. There were three people who stood out that tried to help A gentleman named Aaron a woman named Tawny in a Spanish maintenance worker, I cannot think of her name sorry. Once again, I know this was lengthy, but do not send your people here

The director and staff really does a really outstanding job with my husband and I’m so forever great because it’s really nerve racking when you got to have someone whom you don’t know. To care for your loved one. I really thank you’ll so much.

If I could give this facility 0 stars, I absolutely would. ***Please read before considering sending your loved one here***

My grandmother had a recent stay at this facility after having pneumonia and needing some extra PT before heading home. This facility is so short staffed, your loved one will be left for hours without anyone to answer help calls. They need help getting up to go to the restroom? Two hours. They need a fork for their meal because they dropped it? Two hours. Each time I would go in to visit, the nurses would be huddled behind the nurses station complaining to each other, which should have been red flag number one. Meals were delivered cold and next to inedible.

The biggest problem of them all though was my grandmother was displaying symptoms of weakness in her left arm and leg. Upon immediately seeing it, our family notified the nursing team asking if she could have had a stroke. They did an xray and said it was arthritis in her shoulder causing the issue. A few days later, my grandmother had swelling in her left arm. Again, our family mentioned it immediately to the facility and called her primary doctor. The facility ran an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot in the arm after we mentioned again we were concerned of a stroke. We got her the heck out of there and to the hospital (which is what the facility should have done) and guess what! It was confirmed she had a stroke.

The long story short- this facility feels like they are taking in as many patients as possible without having the necessary means to care for their patients properly. It feels like a place that only cares about getting money, not the actual people. This facility did more damage to my grandmas health than helping her. She’ll never go back here and we will continue to tell anyone in a similar situation that this facility is horrible.

My mom stayed at Northdale twice recently for rehab. It's clean and, for the most part, managed extremely well. Of course, there are hiccups at times (nothing is perfect), but overall, it was a great experience. The nurses, PT, and OT staff are excellent. And the CNAs are very hard working! The activities are also great. The other night, they hosted a wonderful dinner for patients and family members. Sara Walsh, Discharge Planner, went "above and beyond" in (5) attempts to get Medicare to approve a hospital bed for my mom when she returned to her ALF, and even faxed some additional vaccine records to her ALF at my request. Thank you Sara!!!

My Dad is here now. Staff is great. He always looks clean when I visit. The woman that changes him is very nice as well as his physical therapist!
