I delayed in my review so finally getting to it. My experience here was just the best! The registrar Laurie made it so easy and she was pretty funny. Pre-procedure nurse Natalie was awesome. OR procedure nurse Jannine fantastic! The procedure tech Rosalie amazing! Recovery room nurse Pattie was great!. And also Maria made it simple and easy and I didn’t worry about anything with anyone there. Had a great experience.

I am giving North County Surgicenter a 3 Star due to their billing dept. The facility and the professional team who work there (nurses, my doctor) are all amazing. But the billing department decided to call me the day before a procedure and tell me I am going to owe them $370.67 when I arrive tomorrow. I know I met my out of pocket in and out of network family max out of pocket in May, 2024. I verified with my insurance company today, the facility is in network and I was advised I would owe the surgicenter zero. When I called the insurance dept back they said “Oh. We will change that. I see you met your family max deductible not your individual.” I asked why they didn’t just check the family deductible automatically and have me go through the trouble of correcting them. Be careful when a facility tells you you will owe them money. Be your own advocate. Because they seem to do the bare minimum to check the facts. If that is there only job they need to be re-trained.

I spent 1 week with countless call attempts trying to contact the front desk to request information, in some cases they answered the phone and left me on hold for more than 1 hour. Finally, I will have to go personally to request information.

i had a very routine yet as invasive as it gets, procedure which required for me to be knocked out. The staff and the facilities and the methods were all as perfect as one would want.
the employees and doctors all treat each other like family, but a very efficient family.
Bedside manner did not wasted time, yet levity was not absent.
can't recommend this place enough, and can't praise the hard-working staff with words to explain how something i've put off for years turned out to be a great afternoon of laughter and drugs:), and medical procedures flawlessly accomplished.

I was very impressed with my endoscopy appointment yesterday at the Surgi Center. The front desk was friendly and professional. The nurses were all great. The anesthesiologists as well. And, of course, Dr. Subhani was wonderful as usual. Great team effort!👍

I’ve encountered many nicely decorated surgery centers. Yet the staff inside was seriously lacking in authenticity & organization when it came to treating the patients with dignity, empathy & sincerity.
This was definitely not the case with North County Surgicenter. While the waiting room seems somewhat devoid of warmth & personality; the staff & doctors more than make up for it! From beginning to end, I was treated with more warmth, humour, concern & caring than anywhere else…EVER. I went there for a Cervical Epidural, which I was pretty much afraid of how things might go. That’s how many horrific times I’ve had in the past, at other places, for varying procedures. But this time was extremely different. Like night & day! I was treated with respect, dignity, empathy & a complete comprehension of what was required for protection of my health & well-being. I felt absolutely zero pain throughout my procedure. I was given all the assistance I needed to move from bed to table & back again. I was given help to remain as comfortable as possible in a very uncompromising position in order to have procedure done. I suffered NOTHING! There aren’t enough words to compliment, enough words of gratitude for how wonderful the nurses & doctors are. If you ever have need to end your pain, to feel like your “old self” again…I highly recommend Dr. Laux & the North County Surgicenter. There is nothing like the best…& that lies in the simplicity of sincerity, caring & GREAT MEDICINE practiced there. G-d Bless All of Those Incredibly Amazing Healthcare Professionals who practice medicine that truly heals…North County Surgicenter & Dr. Laux; THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR MAKING ME FEEL LIKE I MATTERED TO YOU & FOR MAKING ME FEEL GREAT AGAIN!

I had surgery yesterday.
I cannot say enough good things about the staff..
From my registration to the time I walked out the door.
I was treated so well. Everyone was so professional polite and sincerely caring about my comfort.
