Nursing staff is rude and talks over you. The office staff won’t send you bloodwork paperwork and won’t answer the phone. I got charged $50 cash for a doctors note. Then my specialist knew my doctor by name when I mentioned that. So he’s one of the only doctors doing that. With so many doctors in the area, it’s easy to find a better one.

Last Tuesday I felt so bad I went to my so called Dr, Dr Nordquist office only to be told I have to drive around and get my own test for Covid/Flu A/Flu B so I went to Walgreens $28.00 out of pocket. Took it home ,barely done the test I felt so bad. It showed I had Covid. I then as i was told to do by his receptionist called them back and someone at least answered ( phones are always messed up). I went to bed and waited for a callback for some medication, no one ever called. I had to then call the office yet again feeling like doo doo and they told me meds were called in at noon. This was 430p. Poor excuse for a Drs office. Never been treated so disrespectful and not valued as a patient at all. Not any of them from that office called to check on me. I never ever had this problem with Dr. Gonzalez office just my job changed insurance so I couldn’t go there anymore. Treat people better that are sick. Care more about patients and be sympathetic to how they must feel. I’m never going back here again. I hope other patients get treated better than I was.

Long wait, and felt rushed. But the worst was his elitist comment when I said I tutor special needs and remedial Maths to help students fill gaps and catch up, he said, "why bother they will just be a burger flipper all their lives". He went on to list all his academic achievements. This was a couple of months ago, and I have not been back.

Clay Nordquist is simply one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. He was my doctor for 15 years but when I had a lapse in insurance and had no problem paying out of pocket I was dropped as a patient with Nurse Ashley calling the evening before my appointment and asked what I needed it for. I said I had abdominal pain and confusion for months. She cancelled my reschedule and sent a letter, said the doctor would not return my call. Other nurses like Jessica were very helpful. I later found I had multiple tumors that could have been caught earlier with a simple referral for MRI. I believe something changed and I was unable to confirm with the doctor so I'm forced to write this review in hopes he will return to being a great doctor and avoid whatever hate is in the heart of Ashley.

Doctor Nordquist has been my family doctor for many years. The staff is great and Doctor Nordquist is very good, he takes time and listens to what is wrong with you, not just in and out in a couple of minutes. I can't recommend him enough.

I am both surprised and upset that this medical center is asking me for 50 dollars in cash, just to fill out a medical form that I need for my job. This fee is on top of the copays or payments that I make for visits, which seems unreasonable. The doctor needs to fill out and sign documents so I can request a leave from work due to health reasons but they demand payment first.
I must pay 50 DOLLARS IN CASH IN ADVANCE
A different doctor completed my paperwork for free last year. It should be complimentary, but instead you charge $50 per person in cash only. This is an unfortunate instance of taking advantage of patients.

Out of curiosity (since I'm about to make an appointment because I'm currently sick) I read his Google reviews. I am shocked at how many poor reviews Dr. Nordquist and his practice have. Being new to Clermont a few years ago, my husband and I both needed a new doctor and we chose Dr. Nordquist. Like any other office, we sometimes have to wait, but never more than about 20 minutes. His PA's have always been nice and listen to my issues/concerns. Dr. Nordquist comes in to go over everything and ALWAYS takes the time to answer my questions. We love him and his staff and will never go anywhere else. ❤️

Definitely not a hands-on doctor. His staff do it all. He gives a brief pop-in at the end. We did NOT like the lack of interest. And, only one concern will be addressed each visit because "insurance doesn't pay for it" is what we were told. You actually sign off on this in the original papers as a new patient. Just too assembly-line for us. We want to believe a doctor cares and knows us as he makes decisions about our health - not just signing off on an assistant's decision. We moved on.
