I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience with Dr. Salinas has been. She has changed our lives. The assessment she performed on my child was very thorough. She answered every question that we had and gave us many contacts to local organizations. She really cares about her patients. Her and her staff are always quick to greet us warmly when we arrive. We love Mr. Adam and have noticed so many changes in our child since starting with speech therapy. You will not regret choosing Dr. Salinas as your provider. She is awesome!

We had an overall positive experience with Dr Salinas in assessing our son for some behaviors we were concerned about. She spent a great deal of time interacting with our son, and then she sat down with me to go over our family history and give her initial impression before she went over our parent evaluations. I appreciated her unbiased observation, which seemed to reflect what we were concerned about as parents.
The only negative was some difficulty determining if she had all the necessary paperwork from the teacher and pediatrician prior to our session, and having to try and track down the disconnect in it not being completed by the pediatrician.

Dr Burrowes made something that initially felt very scary much less scary, and easier to do than I expected. I appreciate her patience, compassion and knowledge. After over a year of floundering trying to get help directly from my daughter's school and then trying to figure out who would take our insurance to evaluate our daughter, we finally decided to pay out of pocket for a thorough and independent diagnosis. It was the best decision we could have made. Dr. Salinas provided an extremely thorough report and diagnosis and helped us create a plan of action to get our daughter on track academically and emotionally. The report and recommendations she provided allowed us to work seamlessly with our school to create an IEP. She has spent an incredible amount of time on the phone with us, directing our next steps since the evaluation. She even toured a school we found in the area that specializes in dyslexia to see if it would be a good fit for us and her other patients.
I would recommend this process to anyone. I hesitate to share my negative concerns as it was an excellent experience overall. If I can add some constructive criticism it would be that the administrative aspects of the practice were not excellent with some delays in response, billing mishaps and confusion over pricing. It's a hefty bill to pay and customer service could be improved. To be fair, there were staffing changes during our process. I sincerely hope that the practice can hire an administrative staff as helpful, kind and competent as Dr. Salinas. Still worth 5 stars and I wish I had gone to Dr. Salinas sooner!

Dr Salinas was wonderful! She took a lot of time with us and wrote a thorough and informative report. I highly recommend her. We were able to have a report within two weeks and begin services. We would have been on a waitlist for months elsewhere. She is knowledgeable and experienced and very kind to interact with. I Highly Recommend her and will be passing her name along to others often.

My experience with Dr. Salinas was outstanding! She called me, personally, to schedule the appointment with my son. This enabled the best pre-assessment possible. Upon arrival to the office, we were again greeted warmly by her personally. She had toys to keep my son occupied while she completed the intake assessment with me. She spent over an hour with us, as if we were her only patients, and exuded such compassion. I would highly recommend Dr. Salinas for your child!

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Burrowes. As an adult woman, I was worried about feeling dismissed or invalidated during the assessment. But Dr. Burrowes was extremely compassionate and I felt heard and validated throughout the appointment. She also helped my mom understand a lot more about how my brain works. I feel like I can finally start looking at strategies and resources that work for me. It was also a huge relief to be seen so quickly.
