I had an excellent experience at Nellie gail Urgent Care. I came in with a small piece of glass stuck deep in my finger, and I was honestly worried it wouldn’t be taken seriously. But Dr. M. Salimkhanian was incredibly patient, kind, and thorough. He took the time to examine my hand carefully, took an X-ray, and with amazing care and precision, successfully removed the glass shard.

He could have easily said it was too complicated or referred me somewhere else, but instead, he showed such compassion and professionalism. I truly appreciate the time and attention he gave me. It made a painful and stressful situation so much easier to handle. I’m genuinely grateful and highly recommend this clinic and doctor to anyone who needs urgent care.

I have recently been a frequent patient at Nellie Gail Urgent Care because of a bunch of random health issues. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Carla, the receptionist, who was incredibly friendly and efficient. She made the check-in process smooth and painless, setting the tone for the rest of my visit.

Dr. Mike was absolutely amazing. He was genuinely kind and caring throughout the entire process. His professionalism and warmth made me feel completely at ease.

I suffered a cut on my forehead that required 8 stitches. The receptionist Carla was very kind and welcoming. The nurse Mos (hope I spelled his name right) was accommodating and made sure you were comfortable. The Dr. Mike is the best MD I’ve ever encountered. He was very careful and communicated every move he made to make sure I was not in pain while he stitched me up. After a very traumatic accident, I am so lucky to come to Nellie Gail Urgent Care as the whole staff understood that you come with discomfort or pain and they make sure you are comfortable and given the best treatment. I hope that every medical facility could make you feel this way when you come in need. Thanks.

Dr. Mehrdad Salim khanian is an amazing doctor. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. My family and I always feel comfortable and cared for when we visit him.

It’s been a while since we’ve needed to visit, but I wanted to take a moment to thank him and the entire team. Everyone who works there is truly excellent, and we really appreciate their care and professionalism.

Recently had to go here 2 times in 3 week. I saw two different doctors I think. I say I think because I was in such pain that I really couldn't think straight. Anyway both were professional, straight to the point and right to fixing the problem. I really appreciated that. The front desk staff were very nice and professional as well. This review is for “DR.” SALIM KHANIAN MEHDRED. This guy is one of the WORST doctors I have ever encountered. On several occasions, he walks in, doesn’t greet me or say hello, doesn’t smile, doesn’t make eye contact, puts on gloves and says, “Why are you here?”. Speaks to me with a condescending tone, has a facial expression of annoyance, and rushes through the appointment. He frequently uses sarcasm to make me feel small when I ask questions about treatment. On several occasions, I needed to be checked for infection, and he seemed like he was disgusted to speak to me or even touch me. He has an unwelcoming and unfriendly disposition. Not only is he abrasive, but in my opinion, lacks emotional intelligence. I’ve been coming to Nellie Gail Urgent Care - Laguna Hills for three years because I was under the impression that this location was the only facility in my area covered under my insurance. Each time I’ve gone to this urgent care, I crossed my fingers and hoped I wouldn’t get the same provider. Each time, it was him… but I was unable to make other arrangements due to limited resources. I shouldn’t have to be afraid or anxious to see a doctor while I’m sick, for fear of being treated less than human. Just to Clarify, this review is for Dr Salim Khanian Medhred ONLY. My experience with all other providers and staff has been exceptional. I’m currently sick with fever and flu symptoms, and I would rather stay home and be in pain than to EVER go to this clinic again. DO BETTER or HIRE BETTER.
