My doctor was exceptional - warm, empathetic, and thoroughly explained everything. The phlebotomist was gentle and made me feel safe. The office was efficient, clean, and comfortable. Dr Trang Louie is amazing!
I’ve been coming to this clinic for many years, and I have always walked away feeling well taken care of, they are professional, patient and caring.
From the front desk to the doctors, I have experienced friendly and sympathetic bedside manner.
Dr Trang Louie goes above and beyond the call of duty. She makes me feel heard and in good hands. Her approach to medicine and care sets the bar.
My family has also been patients of Dr Derrick Wright and he is also great!
I highly recommend this clinic and the amazing Doctors who serve the community.

Update (12/6/24).

I've been so many times, and each time has been great. The man at the front desk who sits closest to the patients in the waiting area was so kind and nice to me this last time. He remembered me and addressed all my needs. He even got me in right then for COVID and flu shots.

The nurse who administered the shots was also incredibly nice. We had a wonderful conversation, and we ended it by promising we'd look for each other around town since we live in the same area. The two receptionists in this part of Neighborhood (the maternal care part is where they do vaccinations) were also very nice.

If I weren't moving out of California, I'd probably become a hypochondriac just so I could see them more often. As it is, they are so nice that I prefer to stop by and see them in person when I need something rather than call, like to follow-up or make an appointment. They are not far out of my way and the lines are never very long. I've never had to wait more than just a few minutes for a receptionist. Neighborhood Health has a special touch where they combine professionalism with friendliness. It almost feels like going to your local gym where you feel welcomed and everybody knows your name or at least knows you. It doesn't feel at all like a doctor's office. It's definitely my favorite doctor's office I've ever been to, and I will miss them a bunch. Thanks, Neighborhood Health!

Update (9/23/24). Another great visit to Neighborhood Healthcare. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor showed they cared.

Highly recommend. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The medical assistant and physician both listened closely to my concern.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!
ZERO STARS!!!!

They have ZERO respect for your time or circumstances!! Even with an appointment—AND showing up EARLY to check in—you will be forgotten about and wait & wait & wait & wait!!
I had fasting labs—severely anemic & needed to monitor blood work (per dr)—made afternoon appointment—fasted ALL day and night before—arrived EARLY & told “your next.” Waited 20 minutes—inquired as to how much longer b/c I had a GI appointment right after this blood draw. Lady messaged the back—still nothing—front desk said maybe 5 more minutes—but she was unsure. By this time, waited 30 minutes!! I had to go to make the GI appt for my bleeding!!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Never got labs. Fasted for nothing & unable to obtain pertinent bloodwork for internal GI bleeds!!! WTH?!?
“Would you like to reschedule” is what I was offered. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Should I block out an entire day for a blood draw?
No—I will NEVER EVER go back to this archaic clinic!!! Disgusting & shameful!!!

This is the SECOND time this has occurred at this forsaken location!!!
(For a lab appointment). If they behave this way for labs—I would hate to think how they are with anything else!!!
Why have an appointment—for a simple blood draw!? Why show up not just on time—but EARLY!
It doesn’t matter—because they DON’T CARE!!! They get paid by the hour & are not the ones ill or suffering!!!

They have NO respect for other people!! 4-5 people just sit behind the desk chatterboxing amongst themselves while we with appointments & needs WAIT—for UNACCEPTABLE periods of times!!!

I KNEW better than to go back to this UNPROFESSIONAL clinic because of the last experience !!

NEVER AGAIN!!!

SHAME ON YOU NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH!!!!!

I surely hope the staff has to walk the unhealthy walk one day—and then they will understand how awful they are!!!
