My wife has STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER which had metastasized to her spine. Went to SanDiego for a ten hour operation to her spine with 4 fusions rods etc. Also wife is in a very painful full body brace. We has seen this Dr, before the operation and had a breathing study also before the operation. So when she got back Yuma Rehab Hospital I called to see if we could do a phone or televisit as she was having trouble breathing and maybe he could help. Office staff said they would talk to Dr and get back to me but never did. Two weeks later I called back and was told the Dr only does in office visits. Fortunately another lung doctor prescribed an in home nebulizer which has help greatly. Steer clear of this guy. He clearly does not care about his patients

I’m very disappointed with the protocol of this office. My daughter had an appointment and presented a picture of our family insurance card and was TURNED AWAY because she did not present the original copy. I even asked if I could email or fax and they said no . I have never heard of such a thing. Very disappointing.

Dr. was slow to get to know but he eventually opened up and is friendly and welcoming. I like going there because I’m treated well. I have never heard conversations between Dr. N and his patients. His staff is friendly and helpful. I have never waited longer than 10 or 15 minutes to see the Dr. This office has the shortest wait time of any doctor in town.

Office staff was completely unprofessional, after I finished my new patient forms I returned them to the desk and they just let it set there on the desk. The office was not busy and after another patient came in and moved my paper work over to get to the sign in sheet, I got up and held on to my info - talk about a HIPAA violation. after 45 minutes and 4 patience going in that arrived after me I ask what the problem is and the receptionist said she was waiting for my forms. I said you know I was done, you saw me turn them in, you saw me pick them up and all she had to say was " you didn't hand them to me directly" what? I will never go to that office again. To have office staff that bad, the Dr. must not need to stay in business!

The office is hard to find parking and he always seems over booked. The wait time is atrocious. The front desk staff seems to be working hard but can't do anything for The patients waiting on The lobby. The walls of the rooms are very thin and you can hear the conversations between patient and doctor. Im not sure how great of a doctor he is because I went to see him twice and both times was told to come back only if I'm having problems. I'm thinking, why did the other doctors send me here then? Over all he gets one star.

He charges expenses to you when you're in the hospital that aren't authorized. I told him not to come to my room and not to treat me, yet he charged my hospital account up until I left and I never saw him after I told him not to come back. Never sent a bill to my home either and then he turned it over to collection. What a crook.

Dr. Neelappa: Is A Wonderful Doctor.He Takes Care Of His Patients With Care And Compassion.Many Of My Family Member Have Been Attended By Him And His Practice.Including Myself Currently.He's Very Respectful And Explains Anything You Aren't Sure About.

Great Doc. He puts his patients concerns above politics. The wait is a little long but he is GREAT in the OR. Doc, as I call him, cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable.
