Horrible experience with this clinic. Little communication prior to procedure that was performed on crush wound. Doctor seemed impatient with my questions afterwards and lacked bedside manner and compassion. The nurses appeared stressed and overworked. I was sent home with instructions on how to repack and dress wound on my own and to call with questions. I called over a period of 2 days and left 3 messages on the nurse line. No one called back. I finally had to call the receptionist and she got someone to call. The nurse who called had my assigned doctor name and info mixed up and was completely rude and short with me. Again lacking any compassion and unwilling to give me guidance I was told to “just go to the ER”. since my next appointment there was 3 days away. I switched to clinic at Physicians Regional and it was a night and day difference! They are wonderful there! They care and we’re much more thorough!!!

Waited 5 days for an appointment with a physicians referral. Arrived to find out the facility is not ADA compliant. They are UNWILLING to service handicap patients.i have a bleeding open bed wound . Advised i need to go to NCH ER. Wait time at NCH ER 11.5 hours and cost $250 . If i go to a specialist my cost is $50. Why are none of the NCH facilities able to service handicapped individuals. Why are NCH facilities NOT equipped with a lift? Why is a handicapped individual not afforded the SAME healthcare at NCH as a non- handicapped individual, eg treatment , cost , wait time , service & medical treatment.
This is not only blatant discrimination but a gross violation of the American Disability Act. Paraplegic individuals are most prone to death related bed wounds. Filing grievances to State & DOH.
