I had the best doctors and nurses deliver my baby back in April. This was my first pregnancy so I was very nervous and just didn’t know what to expect given how you can’t really plan your labor because anything can happen. Luckily I had an amazing team on call, any questions I had were answered, any request I had were met, and made my labor go as smooth as possible without any complications. Thank you!

Absolutely unacceptable. I have been in and out of the ER my entire pregnancy (7 months) for severe pain in my kidneys, and they send me home every time after spending the entire night there. i don’t feel comfortable going back to the ER after my last visit when i went in for KIDNEY pain and they spent all night checking me for preterm labor after i told them im having no symptoms related to labor. they insisted anyways that we do every “intimate exam” necessary to rule it out. i am an SA survivor and told them i did not want a man doing my exams and that i have a past of traumatic experience with men. they said a male doctor was the only one on staff to do the procedure. when they came in to do the transvaginal exam, the lady told me to “think of it like a penis”. i started having a pretty severe episode. i have schizophrenia, and my episodes often make it hard for me to communicate or speak, so i couldn’t say anything or ask them to stop the exam. they told me after we did all of the exams to eliminate the risk of preterm labor, they could clear me for an MRI and i would be able to finally figure out what’s wrong with my kidneys. at 7 am, after being there all night, they told me i would not be cleared for the MRI and sent me home. the worst experience i’ve ever had.

Could not say enough bad about this medical facility.

Very confrontational staff, every time I have relevant questions in relation to my visit I am met with an obvious attitude from reception.

I cannot get the regular medical care for my kids, to include ER follow ups in a reasonable timely manner. And I’m talking about a 2 month lead time on average.

Anytime a follow up was able to be made, it was because my spouse fought to
maintain the traction of said follow up. Not the hospital reaching back out to us.

I get population concerns and things like that, but for this place to be so cosmetically appealing on the interior and to get so low quality customer service is pretty humorous. In a bad way.

You essentially have to expect conflict when coming to this facility, if you value your family’s respect and time.

And it’s
just, acceptable here.

During my vacation at San Onofre, I unexpectedly needed to visit the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. Despite the situation, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The hospital staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and compassionate from the moment I arrived. They made sure I was comfortable and well-informed throughout my visit. The facility was clean and well-organized, and the level of care I received was top-notch. The efficiency of the medical team was impressive, and they quickly addressed my needs while also taking the time to explain everything in detail. Overall, what could have been a stressful situation was made much easier thanks to the dedicated and caring staff at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital.

Literally what was the worst day of our lives was made so much better by the staff here at Naval!

Our 3 year old had a febrile seizure on July 4 evening, and the nurses and doctors in the ER responded so fast and were so empathetic to our situation!

Our baby is doing fine because of how well they intervened, and we are just so thankful to have our baby here with us!

took my 4 mo old to the er and while we're trying to explain what's going on, the lady at the front desk has an attitude, cuts us off multiple times and also asks "so why are y'all here?" then after a couple minutes of waiting we decided to leave because we didn't want to put up with that and go somewhere else we go up to the desk to let them know and again with attitude she says "y'all just checked in 4 seconds ago". this isn't even the first time we've dealt with rudeness and stuff like this at this er frok not only someone at the front desk but some in the back as well.

Waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half. Waited in the exam room for an hour and 15 minutes without anyone coming in the room. I eventually decided to just leave. I broke my toe, but I guess I'll figure out how to take care of it myself. Hope I don't mess it up worse, but it's not like that hospital cares anyway.
