Always the most thoughtful, professional and helpful MRI office. They do all they can to work with your schedule with office hours to accommodate most work schedules. Technicians are so kind and give you detailed care (squish the ear plugs for you, offer blanket for warmth, use wedge for leg comfort, roll a towel to support you in different areas, provide clear instruction on breathing, swallowing and movements). Very thorough review of metal, implants, etc that can be impacted by MRI machine and personal safety. Outstanding medical procedure office that I highly recommend.

I was mistreated, the receptionist was rude,, people with this attitude shouldn't work with patients,, she was eating and talking at the same time, she didnt get my information over the phone and I was not able to have the MRI. She never show any kind of compassion She lied on my face about me not telling her I had a brain aneurysm I had Dr.Juan Corea (one of my oncologist) as a witness of my conversation over the phone when I was telling her about the aneurysm and me having coils I lost over 3 hours, its so sad and so painful that the only thing she cared was about was not being interrupted with her meal. This place does NOT have an open MRI. Why they advertise openly that they do is baffling. Be aware that the ancient MRI machine that they do have will trigger even miled cases of Claustrophobia.

The billing department is a disaster: in a MRI I had done in January 2023, they asked me for a copay of approximately $335.00 at the time of the procedure, I told them that my copay was only $100.00 according to the contract with my insurance. They didn’t accept my word, and told me that I could opt for a partial payment, the minimum being one third of the amount they had estimated. I paid around $111.00. Nine months later, I needed another MRI, and they ask for a payment greater than my $ 100.00 responsibility as established from the insurance plan as a copay, I showed them the EOB of the January MRI, made in that same office along with the receipt that they themselves had given me showing their error, and they still did not acknowledge their mistake, didn’t apologize for their mistake, nor talked about offering a refund and correcting their system of calculating my financial responsibility. Summary: the person in charge of billing is incompetent, incapable of understanding elementary facts, incapable of accepting errors and correcting them. It's really a shame because the rest of the staff are very good, they are attentive and capable, and the equipment seems quite modern and in good condition. My recommendation: Open MRI should train the person in charge of billing. She should be trained, not only on billing and insurance, but also in dealing with patients and showing good manners.
