I got my first pet here 9 years ago. I remember they were running a special and this best friend was only $5. I will never forget that day. Sonic has since moved with me to Michigan. We miss Florida!

Adopting a dog was a great experience. We got to see all the dogs in their kennels before deciding which one(s) we were interested in. We got to meet them in a room where we could see their personalities come out with toys and a dog bed. Everyone was super nice and helpful throughout our experience. We brought Stella home today and couldn't be happier with her. She is an incredibly well mannered dog and loves being around people and other animals. Definitely recommend adopting dogs or cats from here as it was clean and the animals seemed well cared for.

The people at the Nassau Humane Society are extremely helpful and kind. This is the Humane society where I found a dog that I wanted to adopt. It worked out really well with her. They have a variety of dogs there that are up for adoption. The facilities are pleasant they have their own dog park as well as a vegetable garden, they are located off airport Road not too far from Fleming Island. I wanted to adopt a small dog. I was fortunate to find a small dog that I could adopt. Once you adopt at the NASA Humane Society, you can join their webpage and share information about your dog. They also have an app you can use where you can get guidance during process that your dog adapts to living in your home, I found that to be very useful. They are also very helpful if you have any questions or issues, you can call them anytime and they will answer your questions. The first photo is my dog now. Many thanks to all of the helpful, caring, skilled staff at the Nassau Humane Society. We needed guidance for choosing the right pet for our 14 year old cat and with their help, we adopted Kiki, a 12 year old surrender. While no one knows Kiki's story, everyone helped us make the choice and now Kiki has a forever home. Bravo, NHS and your amazing crew!

They took my cat trippy and wouldn’t give him back I literally cried plead from them to give it back he’s my cat no one knows him like I do I paid all his medical expenses every treatment food and even toys which is actually expensive for a 20 year old I have two other inside cats he unfortunately wanted to be outside and kept running out but came back each time they got him and I got one call from them in the span of a week and a half then said they didn’t trust I could take care of him. First of all he’s a black cat they usually have less opportunity to get adopted and second he’s old so he’ll probably be there for a while no one loves that cat more then me yet I still couldn’t get him I’m crying still writing this and usually I would never in my life do a review but hopefully they go out of business . Below I’ll leave photos of how happy the cat was with me and I have so many more horrible service no compassion!!!!!

My son just adopted a dog (Bill). They were absolutely spot on in his description and seemed to know him very well. They saved Bill (now Ranger) from an overcrowded shelter and what a good choice! He’s amazing and a blessing. He will have a spectacular life. Thank you for all you do
