Naples retreat offers an intensive 12 step based program of recovery. It is a place that I would definitely recommend to my own family and friends. I have personally seen lives changed through the efforts of the men who live and work here. They are serious about helping people get and stay sober.

I have been the first resident at the Naples Retreat. This place, and these serious men saved my life. I cannot recommend this place highly enough to any man who wants to be sober and have a happy life. This is not a rehab or a treatment center, but it is not a sober living house either. This retreat gives me an incredible opportunity make extraordinary changes. The facilities are super nice but its the program director and his team that really offer a program designed to make 12 step work the foundation upon which to build a better life. The Naples Retreat has proven to be transformational for its fortunate residents. I have had the opportunity to a strong supporter and advocate of the Naples Retreat since before it opened.

Since opening I have also had the opportunity to work with a number of men who were residents of the program. In this capacity, I and other men meet with the residents to begin the process of take the residents through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, and guiding men to a better understanding of 12 step spirituality.

While Naples Retreat is new to Naples. It is not a new model of care for alcoholics and addicts. In Minnesota there is a treatment program, The Retreat, that has been actively providing care to alcoholics and addicts for the past 27 years. The Naples Retreat is modeled after The Retreat and has the same commitment to quality care and the spirituality of 12 Step recovery. Since The Retreats inception a number of Retreat Models have opened about the country and world, in Australia and New Zealand.

I’ve been involved in the recovery community in SW Florida for over 15 years, being a regular at The 24 Hour Club, and having worked at 4 different treatment centers. I now have been volunteering at The Retreat for several months. I highly recommend this place for residents who want to totally commit to the 12 Step AA way of changing their lifestyles. I have personally experienced near miracles in people attaining physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual sobriety here.

So greatfull for the Naples Retreat!!!! I’ve been involved with the house since July. It’s incredible, the energy and dedication is without a doubt inspiring. I’ve been sober a while and am very proud that they use the big book and other conference approved literature. There is many groups locally that help and support. I’ve witnessed miracles in watching guys come in broken like me. Then it’s awesome to watch the light come on in there eyes once hope is achieved. They become like another person completely. Blows my mind. If you’re having a hard time getting or staying sober, give Mike a call !! Whether you are new or have multiple years we need you. BTW, they have an early morning meeting - 6:30 am meeting Monday through Friday. Check it out. Stay in the middle of the Herd.
