I’m surprised of the bad reviews from past years. This center has been amazing to me. When I was going through a crisis their crisis line helped me calm down, they matched me with a counselor at no charge who I have been seeing for a few months now and who has helped me overcome a lot when it comes to my sexual abuse. Please do not get discouraged by the bad reviews. They offer therapy not only for victims but for their family members all for free. This is a great organization with caring staff. If you’re going through something contact this center. They are great, supportive and willing to help.

I don’t understand all of the reviews that are posted. My experience with my counselor has helped me through my triggers numerous as they are, my grief and the stresses of everyday life. I can honestly say I owe my life to this place. I am more than capable of getting through any panic attack and any situation that may put me in harms way. Because of the skills and the techniques my counselor helped me learn I’m more appreciative of my life, I’m more confident in my decision making and I feel safer.

one of the best things to ever happen to me. i came in a sad, traumatized and hopeless teenage girl and after only a year of meeting with Emily Lawler, I can confidently say that I am a much healthier and happier person than when I first stepped foot into that office. Every time i felt overwhelmed and panicked, she always managed to bring me back and I know that there will always be an open line of communication whenever i need it. and i can agree with another review on here because i owe my life n everything to this place. also the reason i myself will be working towards a career in clinical psychology.

God has used Louisa to help change my life. I have had such an incredible experience with her as she has helped me transform my trauma into one of my biggest assets. I went from being a victim to a victor, and as I thrive I still continue to utilize everything she has taught me to deal with life as things crop up. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who struggles with being the victim of sexual abuse of any kind. May God bless you all.

It was a horrible experience. The counselor there tried to come on to me and then tried to use me as a counselor. I believe that we have to stop the abuse in the community. We are living in a society where victims keep being victimize. Who is helping and defending them. I told the head what happen and the only action that took place was a talk to the counselor. If this person attempted to victimize me then who else will she victimize? The counselor there showed narcissictic traits and people like that do not have a conscious and those people you have to stay away from. What helped me? It was looking to Jesus, reading my bible and realizing that he is the one who can do anything about my problems. I am more than a conqueror in Christ. Donot go to the center. That counselor was really a wolf in sheep clothing. For the head not to do anything but talk to the counselor shows the characteristics of the leaders and management. That they are not on the side of the victim but are there to promote themselves. In these last days people are getting wicked. My advice to anyone is Jesus, humility and repentance.

They were acting like I was abusive when I do not even spank. This was the most revolting experience of my life. Seems like the interviewer and the nurse were trying to find anything to use against me instead of looking at the pic of why I brought my 3 year old daughter in the first place.

Stay away. If you can afford it go through your insurance. The advocates were amazing but the person who interviewed my daughter is not a forensic psych. My child had a bruise on her face from playing at home and instead of focusing on why we were there the nurse and that “interviewer” examines my daughter and took pictures of a little bit of excema and a bruise my daughter got while playing. I had a video of how it happened and they refused to look at that and the real reason I was there. In addition, while I was texting to a friend the “interviewer “ stood behind me to read what I was typing.
