Dr. Islam has been my doctor for 3-4 years now . He has been great to me. People who say they don’t call them back or pickup the phone are not correct. Doctors are busy people . I have found out that email is the most effective way of communicating with the Doctor and he will 100% call you back or email you .

Dr. Amin is the only psychiatrist that I have ever met that was not condescending and dismissive. She is kind, understanding, and goes straight to the point. She also walks me through my options and make sure I clearly understand them. What do you mean I am talking to a psychiatrist and I am being... RESPECTED?!! Never happened before sadly!!! I felt like she genuinely cares for her patients, and I love not feeling like being interrogated just for needing psychiatric help. I am so glad to have discovered her. Thank you, Dr. Amin!!!! 🙂

Dr. Amin was good, however, at least for me, it is almost impossible to hear on the video telehealth visit. We did a phone call one time & it was the same so that stinks. Additionally, after discussing my daily meditations, Dr. Amin recommended another one to start & after asking several times over different visits if it was safe to take with my other medications- I ended up with serotonin syndrome & was really, really bad off for a while until my GP got it figured out. With that being said, I can not continue with a doctor who does not have any drug interaction checks before prescribing, especially after I asked specifically.

Dr. Amin at My Psychiatry Clinic has played a big part in helping me improve my mental health. She is always very understanding and compassionate toward me. Dr. Islam is amazing.. He worked me in last minute because he didn't want me to run out of my medication. He listened to me and I felt like he was very personable. Most doctors feel so scripted but not Dr. Islam. I feel very satisfied with the service he provided for me today and look forward to using him for my future needs.
