Our son needed help, and the wellness journey began.

This is when I first spoke with Bella at Muir Wood. She was kind, empathetic, and genuinely concerned about the worries I shared. Bella’s care was heartfelt—she regularly checked in with us, regardless of whether or not there was an opening for our son.

With relentless effort behind the scenes from Bella and her dedicated team, our son was able to go to Muir Wood in Riverside.

The home and grounds were beautiful, with a peaceful, warm, and inviting atmosphere.

During our son’s stay, there were some challenges. We were grateful to the staff at this location for their patiennce and understanding. They looked beyond the difficulties, focusing on his potential and the person he truly is rather than his challenges.

Even after our son was discharged, Bella remained present in our lives, offering help and a listening ear.

There are many residential facilities out there, but this is one of the few that truly focuses on the child’s well-being.

I absolutely adore both Muir Wood’s staff and programming. Not only are their facilities stunning, but their clinical team is so in-tune with the current needs of teens in crisis and who are struggling. Would recommend Muir Woods programming to family’s in need. We love working with their team.

This is the best program my daughter and I have been involved with. Muirwood was a wonderful experience for my daughter. All the staff were so caring and supportive, and more importantly, skilled in doing their jobs. My daughter had an AMAZING therapist, Rebecca, who was a wonderful therapist. My daughter was able to open up to her and dig deep. This is the first time she has been able to do this. We miss Rebecca to this day. There was great communication with me as a parent, all the way through. I highly recommend Muirwood in Petaluma. It has made a difference to us.
